This was in a great location, a 5 minute walk to downtown and 10 minutes to the BSI Bus Station where many tours depart from. The apartment (#60) was spacious and comfortable for two of us. The geothermal heating and heated floors kept it super cozy even when it was cold outside. We ended up eating out more often than... More

Thank you for your review. I am sorry you had inconsiderate neighbors. We do post notices of "quiet time" but of course if something like this happens you should complain to the other guests directly or call us on our 24/7 number so we can make them aware of the situation. It is likely they did not realize their children... More

We stayed two nights at the Castle House Luxury Apartments in September 2016. The apartment was exactly as advertised. It was roomy and comfortable and within walking distance to the places we wanted to see in Reykjavik. We found the envelope with our keys when we came through the door and inside was information we found useful for walking around... More

This is a very cute place with a lot of space for the money. The walls aren't thick so if you have partying neighbors it could be an issue but there are quiet hours posted which were respected while we were there. Great kitchen with milk, coffee and tea provided. Restaurant food in Iceland is extremely expensive so buying at... More

Wonderful location! The place was very quiet, clean and private. Most attractions are within walking distance and there are some fantastic eateries nearby. Parking is limited however and the bathroom was very small.

Thank you for your review. I am glad you enjoyed your stay with us. The bathrooms are small but they are fully fitted and have heated floors. Many guests love this feature :) There is plenty of parking very close to the apartments. You need to pay in a meter during the day but it is free overnight and on... More

Made reservations at this property on our first trip to Iceland. Freya was great at sending us info we needed to help figure things out. Such as how to get to the address from the airport, what to do about food upon our arrival, places to visit and most important, how to get into our room when we arrived at... More

I'm really happy we found this place. The location is perfect (within walking distance to pretty much everything in the heart of the city). The suite is simple, clean, bright, and just what we were looking for. It has a small kitchen, which we didn't use this time, but will next trip (eating out is really expensive in Iceland). We... This little gem was a pleasant surprise. Very well situated. Right beside a major public Art Gallery, a half block to a small lake and about 5 blocks to the main street, with some of the best restaurants in Reykjavik along the way. Most days we walked to even more remote corners of the city. We did have a car.... More

Thank you for your review of our surprisingly pleasant little gem :) It is not an inn as we do not serve food or drink. We like to call them self serviced hotel apartments. We do meet most of our guest, but have a quick backup check in when we are not there. We also phone all guests when they... More

Enjoyed our stay in this simple, modern apartment. Excellent location for the city centre. Checking in was extremely easy and the added touches of a boarding pass printing service is a nice touch! Great value for Reykjavik. We were in apartment 50 and would rather have had an apartment not in the basement but otherwise great.

Stayed here in September for four nights. It's a good location and a very tidy and comfortable place to stay. Close to restaurants and shops in downtown Reykjavik with a good tv and functional kitchen which had milk and coffee available when we arrived. There's a spacious lounge and best of all a comfy bed. When we needed assistance with... More
