Cozy, clean, warm environment and only 15 minutes away (walk) from Reykjavik center! Excellent Breakfast! The front desk staff was not really helpful and kind, but that was the only thing We didn’t enjoy! Nice choice and highly recommended when in Reykjavik!

Fine restaurant and lobbies with a bit oldish guest rooms. My group enjoyed the food a lot. Also the conference facilities were excellent. Unfortunately you can't tell the same of the guest rooms. Bathroom was ok, but the room quickly needs renovation at this pricelevel.

1- EXTRA CHARGE: When I checked out, they don’t give you any detail of room charges. As a result, they put couple of extra breakfast charge on my card. 2- The WORST PROBLEM: I have quickly called them once saw the charge, CALlED 4 times. No kidding 4 TIMES. 1st call, they told me to send an email to them and they will send me am authorization form to fill out to get the refund. NO reply 2nd call: I followed up. They said they will call me- NO CALlL BACK 3rd Call: they transferee to called manager or so. He put on hold to refund. I had to hang up since I was on hold for … he was SUPER RUDE …. 4th Call: finally a lady recognized me and she said that they have issue with the refund since bank is close. I requested to send me an email as a record and she did. I am grateful to her and she be a manger that the man on 3rd call. Not sure this refund will ever happen, but I will dispute my card as soon as I get beck! Will also file a complain with SAF and corporate on Monday for super unprofessional and unethical customer service check out for a so called 4 star hotel. Last but not least: bed was super uncomfortable, for readers who ate familiar with Motel 6, their bed is more comfortable. Also, this was a 1st hotel among dozens of hotel in EU one non-EU that I travelled for past decade which did not have USB charger and a simple clock in the room.

Good breakfast. Glutenfree options could be marked and be more variety in them. Rooms are tidy but moderate compared to the expensive rates. Good facilities for a conference. Conference food was excellent. Good service at the reception. Staff there had good language skills.

Large room with all you need, good breakfast. Staff do not speak a word Icelandic. Reception area nice. Some heavy construction work going on beside hotel. A lot of parking space available around the hotel.

Stayed one night. Had a room at 5. floor facing away from the city. A really nice big room as well as the bathroom. Lot of space. A good bed and madras, lot of power sockets. The included breakfast had a fine spectrum of food, but a little bit too crowded. Had a dinner at the hotel, Grand Burger and Club Sandwich. Well prepared and big dish. The staff nice and service minded. The only negative, a bitt to far from city center, 25-30 minutes walk. Nothing really to see in the nabour hood.

We stayed for one night, the room was clean and modern and we did not hear anything from the hallway or other rooms. We had booked at the restaurant and to our surprise the food was excellent and we later found out that one of Icelands top chefs is head chefs of the hotel restaurant, highly recommend. The breakfast buffee was nice also.

We checked in and got a room on the 3rd floor. At 8 pm we started hearing music word for word. Around 10 pm people started jumping dancing and singing it felt like it was right above our heads. We called down around 11 pm and found out they had a wedding reception on the 4th floor directly above our room. They said they could move us but it would be over at 12 AM. After traveling all day I didn’t want to repack everything and just suffered through the last hour. Staff was decent to sub par with other questions.

Loved this Hotel! Large lobby for visiting and gathering with friends, great buffet breakfast and super comfortable beds in the rooms. Would highly recommend if you are visiting Iceland. We also had dinner in the restaurant twice and it was quite good as well.
