Our latest stay in Iceland we didn't want to stay at the hotel we stayed in last time and wanted to try an apt rental. The reviews on TA were awesome for this place. Pros: Basement apartment was clean, spacious by NYC studio apt standards, great location, bathroom was huge. Located on a side street off the main street with...

Had a very enjoyable stay in this excellent apartment. We were greeted when we arrived and given a friendly tour of the apartment and how to use the facilities. The location is superb for the centre of town and for tour pick ups. The accommodation is clean and to a high standard. An excellent place to base yourself to walk...

We have just got back from our trip to Reykjavik and could not imagine a better place than Alfred's apartments for our base. Literally about 20 footsteps to the Main Street of Reykjavik. Clean and tidy room. We had the studio basement apartment for 4 people. There were 3 of us, two in the single beds and one on the...

Lovely clean apartments, friendly staff who are only too willing to help, comfortable bed in a spacious room, what more can I say, great job! Not to mention, the location is ideal--steps from all of the wonderful shops and restaurants Reykjavik has to offer, yet quiet and peaceful. I will be returning for sure in the future thank you for...

What a great little place to stay as it had a perfect location been only 50m from the Main Street. All convenience were there if you wanted to cook in house or bring home takeaway. Great for a 3 day weekend stay as was nice and clean with the host leaving all the information required to get around the town....

Very friendly staff. The apartment is in a great location. You right in the middle of everything. Unfortunately there is no parking and you have to find a spot on the street. The apartment is very clean and up to date. Unfortunately the people above us non stopped walked across the floor for over two hours starting at five am....

Recently came back from Reykjavik after staying in Alfred's apartment for 4 nights and 5 days. Though we booked the one in Vitastigur 11, we were given studio apartment in Vitastigur 8( on arrival). Igor helped us in understanding the neighborhood. Both buildings are yellow in colour. Easily recognisable. From the main apartment if you walk downhill towards left for...

This was exactly what our family of four wanted for our 2 night 3 day visit. Mom & Dad had their own room, kids loved the loft and talk about the best location in the city to walking to everything. Super clean, comfortable and helpful to a first time visitor.

We stayed here for 4 nights. Clean apartments though smaller by US standards. The caretaker is super helpful. Got clean towels daily. It is centrally located to restaurants and shops. Tour buses pick up at the apartment. Has a small kitchen with a fridge & microwave.
