Basic hotel but with everything you need. Clealiness not brilliant. Same hairs on floor for 2 days. Breakfast is very basic ( continental) Very close to main shopping streets with plenty of bars, eating houses. Also close to sea front with great views across the bay.

It is a nice hotel with fresh furnishings, good location and friendly staff. I enjoyed the soft bed and fluffy blanket. Also, the breakfast had a decent selection with continental breakfast basis. All in all a very decent hotel and would not mind staying there again.

Great hotel, very warm employees. More than willing to help with any needs or questions. Really hard workers in the breakfast lounge. Great location very close to everything. I can't wait to go back . Simple lodgings with comfortable beds.

Reception was attentive and even though they didn't let us check in until 230 PM, we were allowed to store our luggage and explore the city. Mind you, you won't get free breakfast until you are allowed to check in tho. Breakfast is a great spread of food typical of a Scandinavian breakfast with the cold cuts, hard boiled eggs,...

What do you want from a hotel serving as a base when exploring Reykjavik ? Reception. Quick and efficient? Yes. Helpful? Very. Rooms. Clean? Very. Towels are on the small side but are adequate and if you want extra just ask at reception for more. The heating in the rooms is exceptional. It can go from cold to very warm,...

The hotel is close to the main drag. rooms are minimally furnished meaning there is NO cabinet in bathroom to put anything on or in. The light in the room was dark. The comforter was great to get you warm but was hot and your only choice is off or on. The breakfast buffet is all cold selections: herring, hard...

We stayed here as part of a package through Discover The World. The hotel is a short walk from the main shopping street. The rooms are fairly basic but are clean and comfortable and have all you need. Very good showers. Breakfast is buffet style with limited hot food but a good array otherwise. The staff at reception are polite...

Would recommend. Five minute walk to the main shopping area, with bars and restaurants, and the sea with magnificent views. Basic but very clean rooms [ we were only there to sleep - too much to see and do ! ] Helpful reception staff but just wish the bar was open a little more. Intermittent opening times which clearly could...

We arrived very early and could not check in which was understandable. Jerel at the front desk was so very kind and accommodating and always had a smile on his face. A room was ready early and even had a high floor room (425) that I asked for so he checked us in in a breeze! The room was small...

We stayed 5 nights. The room while on the small side was very nice. It was lovely, quite and clean. The breakfast buffet was wonderful! My travel companion and I are vegan and we had plenty of things to choose from. I was happy to see an electric kettle in the room. Free indoor parking!!! Loved being able to pull...
