My wife and I just had a great 3 day stay in Reykjavik, Iceland. The accommodations we had at 32 Tungata was just great!! It was an excellent location -- just a few blocks from the old harbor, on top of a hill in a very quiet neighborhood. Despite the very long day light hours, we had no problem sleeping... More

When staying in Iceland, we loved having a house to call our home base. This house was great, clean, close to the city center, and overall perfect. It had everything we needed, but wasn't too over the top. It definitely wasn't fancy, but instead it was homey and perfect for our group. When we come back, I would definitely look... More

We stayed in the smaller apartment which is actually a converted garage behind the house. We thought the apartment could have used a little more furniture but overall we enjoyed our 5 day stay. Quiet, private, easy parking and very convenient location. Walking distance to supermarkets, bike rentals, boat tours, shops and other attractions. We really felt like we were... More

We booked the garden annex and we really did not know what to expect. When we arrived at 32 Tungata late at night (at about 9pm), we found our key in an envelope attached to the door of the main building along with a few instructions and a picture of the garden annex. The garden annex is basically a garage... More

We stayed for 4 nights in garden annex. The owner wasn't there, but we received all the details and instructions on the letter. Location felt quiet and safe, easy short walk to the down town. Apartment itself was clean and comfortable. All in all we would stay again.

I got the garden shed, which has a view of the Finnish Embassy's back garden, complete with broken washing machine and lawn mower. Decent amount of space, very warm, simple and easy to get running with, clean. No curtain in the kitchen which was a problem during summer, due to 24-hour days and the flat having no internal doors, but... More

The 2-bedroom flat is the basement of the large house, with windows looking over the well-kept front garden. Spacious, very clean, crisp linen on the beds. It's a pretty flat, wooden floors and lovely ceiling roses, 70s furniture :) We absolutely loved it. Second bedroom is smaller but is darker, pros and cons, eh? So close to both the city... More

Clean and spacious, kitchen had all we needed. Excellent location - beautiful, quiet, neighborhood and easy walk to center of town with museums, bars and restaraunts. Owner made it easy to get key and left number to contact if needed. We stayed in the apt. At end of the driveway - great, and private! Being able to make coffee and make... More

June 2013 in the "garden" one bedroom apartment. Everything is to our taste. Not plush but clean, comfortable, convenient and cheap. Very good sleeping. Fridge, cook top, dishes and utensils make it possible to not starve and not go broke in Reykjavik as you will do one of if you always eat out. Location is walking close to City Center... More
