The hotel is located in the heart of downtown Reykjavik and very convenient. It is not fancy but very comfortable with nice rooms and friendly, helpful staff -- especially our favorite front desk person Laura. I shared a room with a friend, which kept the cost down to a very reasonable amount. We stayed at the hotel for 10 nights...

Stayed at the city center hotel for 5 nights and I'm glad I chose this hotel to stay in Iceland. My flight landed early and I got to the hotel around 7 am. Check in was not until 2pm and the staff made sure that I was able to get a room right away. I waited maybe till 10am to...

The hotel: Centrally located in the heart of the city. 10-15 minute walk to the big church. Located on the strip with all the discos, pubs and bars. Lots of food options close by. The room: The rooms in the front end of the hotel are smaller and you can definitely hear the noise from the nightlife on Friday and...

My daughter and I recently stayed at the City Center Hotel for 3 nights. It was very easy to book and everyone working at the front desk was always helpful and friendly. We took the Grayline from the airport. The cost was about $50 (US) for 2 of us. It took about an hour. They dropped us right near the...

Accommodations all over Reyk can be on the small side (my room at city-center was itty bitty). Thought $200 USD a night for a closet (not including breakfast) was a bit spendy. But, the location is nice and the staff helpful.

I went back and forth with my feelings about City Center Hotel - stayed there for a week in February. Overall, I had a really good stay. If you're someone used to a large room with lots of space and amenities, like a Hilton or Marriott, this is not the place for you. I'm going to break down my review...

Thank you for your review. Our Staff is more than happy to help you. As we're on the middle of the Center of Reykjavik, sometimes the Icelandic Night life can be a problem to our guests, we apologise for it.

This is a awesome little Hotel nestled in the downtown area. There are shops and Restaurants all up and down this street. It is just a few blocks from the Harbor attractions. A lot of Museums in walking distance. I have included photos from our room on the 6th floor. Very close to a little town square that has a...

Walked through the huge glass door in the side of a building to discover a modern warm and welcoming reception. Very modern interior, spotless and a hot chocolate drink. That was just the start. The staff spoke fluent English . The room was as good as any I have stayed in , in mainland Europe . Spotless and the bed...

Stayed here for four nights during our first visit to Reykjavik. It is perfectly located to get out and about in the city and is well staffed with helpful, polite and charming reception staff. I would happily stay here again.

Extra friendly staff. Everyone that works here is friendly and helpful. Everyone spoke English and it is very clean. Really enjoyed our stay here, it's local to a number of bars and good food places and around 5 mins from all the local attractions. We stayed in the third floor and there was vague noise from the bar across the...
