I booked this hotel because it was cheaper than most of the hotels around it. And honestly, I could not have booked a better hotel. It was a perfect location, walkable to all places in Reykjavik. The front desk people were really nice, accommodating, and more than willing to help you out. The room was great. It had a small...

What a lovely place to stay with warm and happy service and clean and spacious rooms. My wife and I will def be staying again here next time we visit. The food was wonderful and we recommend port9 for a drink or breakfast. They had fast internet and a great location to boot in the middle of town.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Reykjavik Residence Hotel. The desk staff were attentive and helpful, the room clean and efficient and the location was superb. The hotel is one street over from the main shopping street in Reykjavik and an easy walk to all major sights in town. The hotel is an older building that is very well maintained....

Our 2 bed apartment was super stylish and fairly well equipped. The beds were excellent and the apartment was warm at all times. We had a complimentary breakfast at the bar underneath one morning which was excellent, and a breakfast basket another day. The location is brilliant, just a short walk from the main street and main tourist sights. The...

We only stayed overnight, arriving on a freezing cold December evening. Our welcome was warm and the receptionist super helpful. We received a coupon for breakfast in the morning, which was lovely. The room was large and the bed comfortable. Clean, kitchen area, super location - I cannot fault the hotel. Would love to visit again in the future.

We stayed here and had a bit of a mixed experience. The beds were AMAZING!!! Seriously, possibly the best hotel beds I've slept in... The 2 bedroom apartment was really cool and a great value. The staff were very nice and professional. My only complaint was that there was a bar with loud smoking patrons under our window. BUT the...

We stayed at the hotel on our final night in Iceland and had a three bedroom apartment. The apartment was well laid out with three double rooms, a nice kitchen, lounge area as well as bathroom that also had a washer and drier. Super comfy beds. The staff are helpful at recommending local restaurants and other sights in the city....

We've read some negative reviews from a few years ago - we didn't experience anything negative at all! We stayed 5 nights in the Reykjavik Residence Hotel. It was lovely. Very comfortable beds, the usual double being two singles but nothing new there for Europe/International Hotels. Such a good sleep! Coffee machine in room refilled each day, tidy clean room...

I couldn't begin to describe our stay at this beautiful homey hotel. The hotel has everything any one would wish for. To start with the cleanliness the room was very spacious giving our little daughter room to move around. Second thing is their generosity, we were served breakfast in our room as we stayed during Christmas time, the breakfast could...

This apartment hotel is wonderful. Perfect location, staff is friendly and knowledgeable, clean, comfortable, I wouldn't stay anywhere else! Old town Reykjavik is very compact, walkable, and from this location you can reach anything in 15 mins walking
