We had a great stay here. Comfortable beds, clean with good facilities. Great hosts and a great vibe with a relaxed atmosphere. Very central position in a quieter part of town and easy walking distance for sightseeing. I would definitely stay here again.

We spent a week at Eric the Red Guesthouse. The staff was so warm and welcoming, we couldn't have been more pleased. Our room was warm and comfortable, and they checked with us regularly on the need for clean towels or garbage removal. Although the entire staff was great, we saw Marek most often, and were especially grateful to him for his help.

We had a lovely stay at Eric the Red Guesthouse. We had a very warm welcome a lovely room and for breakfast there was a great choice of food. Due to storm Dennis our flight home was cancelled so luckily we were able to stay an extra night. The location was ideal and I would recommend Eric the Red Guesthouse as a great place to stay.

We have just spent three nights in the garden cottage at Eric the Red Guesthouse. The room was so warm and cosy and clean, with everything you could possibly need. We warmed our clothes up on the underfloor heating before going out in the snow! The breakfasts were lovely, especially the home made bread, and I have discovered a love of pickled herring. The guesthouse is perfectly placed to explore Reykjavik and a short walk to the bus station. We would definitely recommend it to anyone. And it was a pleasure to meet Raggí!

Just spend two nights at their new apartments at Bergstaðastræti nr. 46 - it is so new that I couldn't find it on here - but never the less, it was brilliant. The hosts are welcoming and knowledgeable, and everything nice and clean. The basement apartment, which is basicly the groundfloor, was very nice an spacious and would easily fit a family of 5 - we stayed 3 adults - and what a location. You have everything you need with kitchen and shopping close by, and a wonderful bathroom. Will shurely be back.
