I stayed at Loki for one night and was very comfortable. There was an issue with getting into the place though. I never received an email directly from Loki with the door code (I've checked everywhere including spam) so had to call and ask for them to resend it. They did, there wasn't a code. When I arrived, I was... More

The guesthouse is a small 3 floor house with a small backyard. Our room was on the top floor and it was very quite even though we were next to the cathedral. The bathroom was very clean. The host weren't there so we had to figure out how to get in but some other guest opened the door for us... More

We stayed here our last night in Reykjavik. The room was clean and comfortable. The location is fantastic. Just a few steps to the church square(local landmark). Easy walk to the main shopping area, many restaurants, etc. We took a Puffin tour out of the harbor and were picked up and dropped of at the front door. There is a... More

We needed a place to stay for one night. We also needed to leave our luggage during the day due to a tour and initially I was concerned since there is no staff on site for much of the time, but I was reassured that we could leave it in the laundry room, no problem. I recevied email instructions about... More

Thanks for a nice review. We are actually there, every single day at noon (when most people are out). We also live next street so the physical presence is near. We have an active fire alarm system which is monitored by professionals as well. Regarding the breakfast - working on few things to finalize the menu and work hours -... More

Excellent location for Reykjavik's touristic stay -- very close to Hallgrimskirkja. Clean and efficient facilities, especially the common kitchen which is very well equipped. The bathroom facility is a bit cramp.

I stayed here for 4 nights. There is a bathroom on each floor that is shared, a shared kitchen area and the rooms have minimal furnishings. There is no TV or phone in the rooms but the wi-fi was flawless. The location is perfect and the bed was very comfortable. The rooms and comon area were extremely clean. If you... More

I stayed here for four nights. The room was clean and had a small desk with a chair, which was nice. It was a bit larger than other double-bed rooms I've stayed in around Iceland. The kitchen is large and well-equipped. One could prepare a holiday feast in it. I appreciated that specific food storage areas for each room were... More

I knew absolutely nothing about Iceland before I arrived in Iceland, but this cute little hostel was perfect for what I needed. Booked it the night before on booking.com (prob would avoid booking.com in future as there was a bit of confusion with the room/rate - nothing too drastic) but the hostel itself was great. It provided a nice place... More

Loki has a great location. You can walk from the guest house and in to the main street of the city. A lot of good shops and restaurants near by. But the room we got (no 5) was very cold and the humidity was for some reason very high. We could hear all the other guest through the wall. Allso... More

Hi Henriette ! Thanks for your feedback! There are actually radiators in all rooms and also in the kitchen. You just have to turn the circular button at the bottom of each to turn them on. That being said, you probably didn't know about this so we will mark the radiators somehow so that guest will know about the heating... More

Really enjoyed our stay here. Great location - easily walking distance to many restaurants and grocery store. One minute walk to Hallgrímskirkja church. We have now stayed in 3 rooms in this guesthouse. 2 were a very good size, but one was a bit small. There is a shared kitchen area with everything you would want. The wi-fi connection is... More
