We chose this hotel because of its favorable reviews, its location and it is a partner with Marriott Bonvoy. It is very hard to find, so look closely. We called the hotel for advice on unloading the car, and Virginia came to our rescue! Such a refreshing personality and willingness to help. She carried heavy luggage down the rear alleyway stairs. She gave us advice on parking the car, where to see the Northern Lights and where to dine. She was like our personal concierge! Our room was comfortable, albeit a bit small. The lobby is also very small, so there is really no good place on the premises to sit and read or write. But there is a coffee shop across the street, so we were fine. We stayed for three nights and would eagerly stay there again. Our special thanks go to Virginia!

Beautiful, modern rooms. Everything was pristine and the staff was the most friendly and courteous I have ever experienced at any hotel in all my travels. Centrally located, close to all the big tourist sites. Would definitely stay here again!

The front desk girl was very nice. I loved my room and the private sauna. Close to everything. Only thing I didn’t like is it’s a little noisy outside and you can hear it in your room. Decor is up to par.

Great hotel and centrally located for everything. YingYing was so amazing, helpful, and friendly, definitely worth staying here. Close to everything and a supermarket just up the street then all the bars the other way. Very few cars so quiet as well

Pay 300+ a night and front desk man refuses to provide me with a complimentary sparkling water and tells me to go drink tap water. Location is the ONLY perk to this place. Very disappointing experience and not worth the money.

We adored our stay here and will ABSOLUTELY come back the second that we are in Reykjavik again! The rooms were very nice, spacious, and well appointed. We loved the huge shower with very hot water and great pressure, especially since almost everywhere else we stayed in Iceland had just about the opposite. (I even joked with my husband that it was our last night before leaving Iceland after 12 nights, and it was my first great shower of the trip!) lol. The bed was super comfy and warm. We also loved that the room wasn’t TOO warm (another theme we’d come across). The star of the show was Virginia at reception! She made us feel like long lost friends and went out of her way to make us feel welcomed and give us suggestions for dinner and things to do. When our flight was cancelled the next day due to weather, she went FAR above and beyond to make sure that we had a place to stay. Honestly, we would come back to see Virginia even if we couldn’t get a room, she was THAT awesome! I don’t have a single complaint about this place. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We visited the hotel last week with two friends and enjoyed the night. It was not easy to find because not many indications where the hotel is but we finally did it. When arrived, we got sparkling wine and friendly welcome. Rooms are large and the landscape from our room was nice (typical Island houses).

First time in Iceland and glad we stayed here! Location is right in middle of town. Clubs are nearby so if you are a light sleeper ask for a room not facing the main street on the weekend. Ying Ying, Bart, and Virginia, the 3 front staff who one was always at the front desk would greet us warmly and had fantastic recommendations where to eat. The shower is great and hot water is almost immediate when you turn the handle. Really enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend hotel

We spent our first night in Reykjavik here, and it was a great choice. Upon arrival, the front desk person gave us a welcome champagne and gave me a parking spot in the back. It's a great, central location close to all the good bars and restaurants! The staff was very helpful, the rooms were comfortable, and the shower was wonderful!

Hotel was amazing! So clean couldn’t fault the service. Special mention to Virginia the employee there she made us feel very special and put Rose petals and lovely sparkling wine upon arrival as it was her birthday. In an amazing location walking distance to everything in the heart of the city. Couldn’t recommend this anymore to anyone definitely will be coming back :)
