We stayed in #102 and it was nice with simple amenities, nothing fancy. Our apartment was very hot & humid & uncomfortable - we had the heaters off the entire week. Plus, our TV was barely functional; the satellite kept going out. We called the staff on call, and he basically showed us how to reload the channels on the...

This is a simple place to stay. Everything is self serviced. There is a large free parking lot in front of the apartment. The apartment gave us a access code to enter the building before we arrive. When we arrived at the apartment, the keys were ready in an envelope at the unmanned reception area. The envelope contained our room...

We stayed at the apartments for four nights at the beginning of November. The location is good as they are just off the main shopping street and about a twenty minute walk to Downtown Reykjavik. The only problem we found with the apartments was their cleanliness, the beds were very clean however there were numerous areas in corners etc and...

Stayed here at the end of October for my friends 30th. There were 7 of us in an apartment made for 8. Nice basic apartment but only one bathroom which was abit of a struggle with 7 girls! Only smallish but fine for what we wanted. About 10 mins walk to the Main Street of Iceland. Would recommend for a...

We booked a room for our one week stay in Reykjavik in October 2016. The room we got was enough for a couple, very clean and the location was great, within a walking distance of Laugavegur, the main shopping street of Reykjavik. The room was equipped with a small kitchenette and we could prepare basic meals. The bed was comfy....

This place wasn't too expensive and was only a 15min or so walk to the main streets. However, it did feel a little depressing in the room, so I'm glad we only stayed one night. Also, because it was a small room with a kitchen are, it smelled quite strongly of cooked fish/fat. Other than that, it did the job,...

The apartments were comfortable, clean and it was bigger then I expected. Free wifi, heater, microwave and stove. They're self serviced so there's basically no contact with anyone from the hotel while you're there unless you ask for help. The only downside is the room I was in was really close to the lobby and I kept getting woken up...

Reykjavik is notoriously expensive so I opted for an apartment-style accommodation that included a kitchenette. I landed a ground-level unit with a double bed (read - two twins pressed together) with fresh linens, a barebones kitchenette, and a storage unit for out-of-hours nonsense (which is to be expected with a 6 am arrival). Pros - was way handier to 'downtown'...

I've never been to Reykjavik so I'm not sure I can adequately judge what is good value for money, being that it is an expensive city. However, there were a number of goods and bads, so if this in fact is a budget hotel, it is good value for money. If it is expensive, it is not. Positive: the apartments...

Dear Graham, Thank you for a detailed review of your stay. We are a self catering hotel therefore there is not a manned reception at any of our hotels. Although we are easily reachable by the phone in the lobby. You can also see on the information sheet in the apartment that if you need extra towels or pillows you...
