We spent one night here in May as it we had an early flight home the following day. This time we spent 4 nights in the same suite (with a view over the harbour) and were very comfy. Our pick up from the airport was very efficient and we were soon settled into our room and ready to explore, We...

This hotel is convenient close to the airport. Its like staying in somebody's home. Rooms are rather small (we took the smallest) and also is the bathroom but they have everything you need. You can relax in the living room and breakfast is served from 4 AM which is very convenient if you have an early flight. When we stayed...

Stayed here for 2 nights recently and we left with nothing other than high praise for Hotel Berg. Picked up from the Airport within 10 mins of ringing and dropped off 10 minutes after asking at reception. Breakfast from 4am was a bonus and FREE hot drinks 24/7. Room had a mezzanine bedroom, bed was comfy and room was immaculate...

We were here for one night before an early flight home, but our (albeit limited) experience was of an excellent hotel. Lovely location on the little harbour, nice rooms, good breakfast (available from 4am for the early risers) and a free airport transfer at the time of your choosing. What more can you ask for?

I stayed my last night at Hotel Berg. Very close to the airport and just a quick trip out to the Blue Lagoon. Bed was very comfortable and I slept well. Staff was very friendly and provided great information. My only complaint was the incense was a little strong in some of the common areas.

Just returned from 3 wonderful nights at this excellent family run hotel. We booked based on the tripadvisor reviews and were not disappointed. The hotel sits up high overlooking the small harbour and is just a five minute journey from the Airport, As many have said on here, the family will pick you up and drop you back to the...

We stayed at the Berg for 5 days on our first visit to Iceland ( I don't think it will be our last). It's a lovely hotel, it feels very homely and after each day visiting the incredible sights of Iceland it felt like we were returning home. The lounge overlooks the harbour with crashing waves of the North Atlantic...

It stands above the promenade, which is floodlit from 6 September each year then throughout the winter season. Our guests awake to the sound of birdsong.
