Having stayed in four different locations during our trip to Iceland this was most certainly our favorite. A really lovely quaint town and the most welcoming hosts imaginable. I absolutely loved the design of the rooms, completely different to anywhere else I have stayed. Incredibly innovative and cosy. The hot spring in the garden offers an even more relaxing element...

We spent our final night in the 1x6 guesthouse, Keflavik, before driving to the airport early the next morning (only a 10min drive). We wish we could have spent longer at this lovely guesthouse! Andi was very friendly - he helped carry our bags up from the car, and offered advice about where to eat in the local area. He...

We stayed in andy and yuki's guesthouse for 1 night. It was so amazing! They welcomed us like no one! The room is really nice. Everything was so clean and well organised. The hot tub is just perfect. What to say about the breakfast... Awesome!! Andy and yuki are so nice people. We really had great time with them.

Close to the airport and super friendly. We loved the ambience, the hot tub, the restaurant close by and the service including our breakfast to go and sightseeing trip to the airport. The common room was tastefully done and clean! The bathrobes for the hot tub were luxurious.

From the decor, to the Japanese style hot pot, the delicious coffee, and the 'shuttle' drive (and mini tour) to the airport, Guesthouse 1x6 ticks all the boxes and more. We'd only booked for one night but decided that it would make an excellent base for visiting the whole of the Reykjanes peninsula. You could stay here and easily use...

Such a lovely place, peaceful and comfortable, each room with it's own unique design and a hot tub outside. Andi and Yuki are so welcoming and go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect for you. They also prepare breakfast which is full of homemade treats and are able to pick up/collect from the airport. We would...

We had an amazing -albeit too short!- stay at the Guesthouse 1x6. We chose this place as our final "landing spot" before our early flight from the nearby KEF airport the next morning. What was supposed to be a simple, functional, overnight stay turned into a great human experience. Andi and Yuki make you feel right at home. In fact,...
