Nice hotel. Comfortable bed and spacious room. The food at the restaurant was good when we finally got it , but the service was awful. We waited a long time for our food, and when it came the order was not right. So one of us had to wait longer. The main course also took a long time to arrive. But like I said, the food tasted good.

The rooms were comfortable and big and had everything we needed. The staff was extremely helpful and nice. They made us feel very welcome. Great location to discover the beautiful town of Husavik and it's surroundings.

This hotel is in a great location, and the rooms in the newer section are really nice. Like most hotels these days, I think the architect never stayed in it. In general the rooms are a good size, but the shower is tiny. It's also not possible to open the shower door without spreading water on the floor. The sink is a very small basin, so not possible to wash your face. The beds were really hard and uncomfortable -- woke up sore every morning. The pillows were like potato sacks. There is no AC in the room, just radiators. Durring our visit it was cool and cloudy everyday, but we still had to prop open the room door each night to cool the room down. I think if it were sunny, it would be miserable. We were also lucky in that the flies were not as bad as they can often be in this area so we were able to sleep with the window open. The duvets provided were too hot -- I took mine out and used the duvet as a pillow and just slept under the duvet cover. That was actually ok. We had a good rate and this is a great location. Furthermore, all the staff were really fantastic and doing everythng they could to make this a good stay. As it's covid time, I have to mention that guests were required to wear gloves at the breakfast buffet. Unfortunately, people are not trained to use gloves correctly. You can wear gloves all day long but if you touch your face and everything else with the gloves on, it's not going to help.

The hotel is ok, but I got a room in the old building, it was ok, would have liked to have room in the new one but not everybody can be there. like I saw in the pic ;) The only thing I did not like was that the curtains in the room I was in did not cover the window so that the light shone in between. I did not have breakfast and not dinner so I dont know about that.
