This hotel is down in the harbor of Hofn, very close to many of the restaurants in town. Rooms are basic but more than sufficient for a nights sleep. No TV in the room (many places in Iceland seems to skip this) and no climate control either which left our room superheated from the sun warming it up all day. Two levels and no elevator that we could find. Free wi-fi, hairdryer and water kettle in the room. Breakfast was standard Icelandic in choices, with maybe one or two surprises. If you get a room towards the mountains and the glaciers, you'll have a pretty amazing view too.

The hotel was nothing out of ordinary. The place was centrally located with good restaurants nearby. The view from the rooms are of the glacier and the ocean. Wi Fi was very strong everywhere. There is a common area to play cards as well.

Very nice and comfortable hotel. Comfortable bed and nice view from the room, they have blackout curtains so we slept very well. The staff was very friendly and the lobby area was really warm and cozy with nice couches.

Hotel was basic and fine but not great. Smelled musty and staff was less friendly than at other hotels where we stayed on the Ring Road. Could use better blackout curtains and lotion in the bathroom. Breakfast area was small compared to other hotels.

Lobby and outdoor seating area nice gathering spots. TV in a tiny seating area where we ate some snacks. Room basic, but functional. We were in ground floor facing glacier (that was shrouded in clouds after a few minutes in the room). Quiet except we could hear our neighbors in the next room and their radiator that sounded like a steady drip/click. Curtains not heavy enough to blackout light. Breakfast was OK. Easy walk to fast food across parking lot (hamburgers, langostino/lobster sandwich, milkshakes) or nicer restaurants, museum, and harbor a block away.
