We stayed one night here and it was good. Clean serviceable rooms. And in this part of Iceland, lodging is few and far between. It features several buildings behind the check in building, each with a common lounge area with coffee etc. The outside looks like a bookcase so easy to spot. Best thing about our stay here was the...

Family owned business - 93 year old grandmother lives in the complex and each person in the family has a role, e.g. grandson did the glacier tours, someone looks after the sheep etc. Room was spacious and comfy with views of the water and sea birds. Good wifi. Most hearty breakfast we have had in Iceland yet. A well run...

A comfortable stay for 2 nights, my room was large and clean and warm. I had very good nights sleep, and the food in the cafe was good and a pint of beer was not too badly priced. There was a common area right outside my door that potentially could have been noisy but luckily there was not anyone using...

Lovely accommodation in a great location with superb food. The staff were great too - we had a trip booked from 8am and weren't getting back until 1pm but this wasn't a problem as they gave us late check out, so we didn't need to be up early to pack. I'd recommend it to anyone.

We loved our stay here. The location is perfect for being close to the glacier lake. It gives the opportunity to visit it on different times of the day, with different lighting conditions. We had 2 rooms at the end of the building near the water. Nice and quite. Good beds. Free coffee, tea and water. Also there is a...

This is the only hotel for miles. Very close to Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon!!! This place is ideal if you plan on doing some glacier tours or ice caving near the glacier. The hotel staff were friendly, rooms were clean, and breakfast was tasty. It gets very dark at night since the area is very rural so its a great place...

The hotel room was big, clean and warm, there was machine for coffee and tea available at the lobby outside the rooms, very convenient anytime we want a cup of coffee. Breakfast were with many choices, not only bread, there were hot ones like egg, sausage and beacon.....excellent!

A comfortable and clean guesthouse . This place offers a "no frills" type of accommodation . Each room has a view of either the ocean or the mountain . Hali trend out to be an excellent location to photograph the Aurora's .The staff are a very helpful group of youngsters . If you require extra towels or pillows they are...

Stayed here for 1 night. It's an OK hotel, the staff is very friendly, and the rooms are modern. Only minus was that you couldn't open the windows and air out, as the temperature was quite high in the rooms. They have a nice restaurant as well, that you should pay a visit.
