Conveniently located with great views we had a nice stay in this bungalow. Restaurant is managed by the property owners and that was good too. Clean and well furbished rooms. Bedding ok. The area around south east Iceland is superb. We really loved our stay here.

Unfortunately my rental car broke down in the neighbourhood. The one good thing about it was that I got to know this place and certainly want to go back there! Friendly owners, who take really good care of the rooms and surroundings, very tasty breakfast, wonderful area to go hiking, and not too far from the larger city of Höfn. Would give more than 5 stars if possible!

A beautiful farm from where a great hiking trail leads to the next glacier. The rooms are lovingly and have a view on the river. Because of Covid there were only a few guests. the host couple spared no effort to create a great breakfast and dinner. Homemade jam and liverwurst made breakfast something special. We appreciate their kindness and hospitality!

This was our favorite place we stayed at while out on the Ring Road. Yes, we skipped the dinner offering—but we enjoyed staying in, staring at the sheep in our room at an idyllic location. Would recommend!

I’m only writing this to say I had the same problem as an earlier reviewer. Checked in, was given a room with no private bathroom. Went back and checked my booking and I should have had a private bathroom. They fixed this, no problem, but didn’t seem to have any system. It is a fairly basic farmstay , nothing fancy, but none the worse for that. I had the dinner, which was good. Mushroom soup and salmon. If I was trying to describe the vibe, it’s like going to stay with a kindly old auntie that you haven’t seen for ages, if that makes sense.
