We had a comfortable stay, mainly because we had one of the larger rooms. Family members who traveled with us had a very small room that, if you fell out of bed, the wall would catch you. Theirs was very tight for two adults. The breakfast is not extensive but is a nice way to start the day, particularly given...

This is a modern, large hotel about 25 minutes by bus from Reykjavik city centre. It's a little far from the town, but room rates are cheaper, and the bus service is quite good. Free breakfast included, which was quite good. The staff were quite friendly and helpful most of the time, but didn't always follow through on their promises:...

Ended up at this hotel as part of a package trip. Clean, quiet location, a bit too far from Reykjavik, unless you have access to a car. Coach trips pick up from this hotel. Friendly staff, willing to help with directions and queries. Hotel itself getting a bit worse for wear, and could do with a revamp. Rooms were big...

This hotel is at least a 20 minute drive into Reykjavik, so something is lost when you are on the outskirts and don't have easy access to restaurants and night life. I rarely saw buses going by but there were some during rush hour. You would find having are red vehicle very handy. The hotel staff were so helpful, so...

Check-In: We arrived at the hotel before 6am to find every couch and chair occupied already by early arrivals sleeping on every surface available. This continued until we were given our room at 1pm (check in is at 2pm, we were "lucky.") The hotel was full and check out is not until 12n, and while this is understandable, I noticed...

Great little hotel in the village of Hafnarfjordur, about 20km from Reykjavik. We didn't see the rates for our sytay as it was rolled into a Fleetway package deal. However, given the overall cost, this was fantastic value. The double bed was a good size and comfortable. We slept like logs after being in the winter Icelandic weather. Rooms have...
