This hotel is conveniently situated. It's a couple turns from the ring road, and steps from shopping and great dining options. The restaurant is a little pricey, but has some delicious menu items. The bar has an outside patio that is a wonderful place to unwind in the evening if

The hotel is lovely, right in the city heart, at the footsteps of Akureyri church. Nice area with several good restaurants. Perfect for a stop when traveling across the island. As everything in Iceland just a little overpriced, but altogether was a wonderful experience.

Dear GlobeTrotting814785, We truly thank you for taking time to share a feedback about your recent stay with us. We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay! It would have been our pleasure to accommodate you for longer but we hope to see you again soon instead. About the trailer with the cheering ladies - on this day the people who are about to graduate from college celebrate by waking up really early, dressing up in costumes and go waking up their teachers riding around in trailers and partying all day. We call this "dimmission" or in Icelandic "dimmitering". I hope that it did not cause you too much of an inconvenience! Again, thank you for your stay and your wonderful feedback. You are always welcome back to Hotel Kea. On behalf of the staff of Hotel Kea, Dísa Rún Jóhannsdóttir Reception Manager

Situated right in the town centre this hotel has a pleasant vibe. Our room was relatively small but very comfortable and with everything we could want. There is a relaxing bar that served Happy Hour drinks and our meal, in the group dining area, was lovely. We enjoyed seafood
