Last time I was, there was before the pandemic, and it was a five star for me. I liked the view of the fjord and I like the location for stores around the area and when I wanted to go swimming, it was right across the street. On top of all that the people were really nice, and the food was fabulous! It has since been sold to a different company, so I do have no idea how it is right now! It is now 2023. , I was not allowed to change the date, so this might be a moot point.. I was not there in 2022, so I don’t know how to express on that little rectangle that I was there in 2018/2019.

The hotel is lovely. Nicely located with the swimming pool next door. Restaurant and breakfast are both great BUT the mattress was terrible. I had a double room.. with 2 single mattresses pushed together. Both mattress are very soft and old and need replacing. I asked at reception if I could change rooms to a room with a between mattress but they said all the mattress are the same... I m puzzled. 5 nights on a terrible mattress!!!

This is a newer hotel a bit away from the main part of town. The pluses are that the rooms are clean and well designed, with good storage space and a comfortable bed. The shower has great water pressure and there are nice, thick towels. The lobby area is very nice and there is a terrific happy hour every night. The minuses are that the rooms are super small with thin walls. We could hear the neighbors alarm going off! The bathroom is set next to one side of the bed, offering little privacy, in spite of the door. The breakfast does not open until 7am on the dot, so not even an option to sit with coffee before the buffet is put out. The breakfast buffet is delicious and worth the wait. One big negative is that the wifi is horrible. You can only have one device connected to the internet (if you have 2 emails, problem solved) but the connection was slow and kept dropping and you had to sign in every day. For a modern hotel, that is just not acceptable. Overall, it was a positive experience.

We have stayed at this hotel several time in the past and have never been disappointed. The restaurant is top of the line, with a verity on the menu. The front desk staff although busy took time to coordinate our needs.

A warm welcome, cosy lounge and copious breakfast. The bedroom was bright with good storage. Off-road car parking was also useful. The only minor issue was the washbasin located outside the bathroom. Why?

Basic room. View over the road. Road noise quite noisy. Toilet/shower set up is weird. First room allocated had a very bizarre smell coming up through the shower but we were instantly moved rooms with no fuss when we brought it to their attention. Next room was clean and sufficed for one night passing through.

The layout of our room was slightly wild, with a toilet behind the bed on one side and a shower behind the other side (the latter without a door). Besides that this hotel was ok; a bit less spacious than the Icelandair hotel in Egilsstaðir, and the non-inclusive breakfast was a slight downgrade from there as well. But the room was clean and the bed was comfortable so you can't complain too much.

Old hotel on top of a bar/restaurant. Very responsive staff and free parking if lot is not full. Shower is the size of a phone booth and water goes everywhere. Some of the pillows do not have pillow cases so you are basically sharing a pillow with whomever was there the night before. Still, seemed clean. Curtains only do a so so job blacking out the 24 hour sun.

Modern hotel. Stylish and interesting design of room- bathroom is particularly “interesting”- if you are with travelling friends it might be awkward… Great location to enjoy city and surrounding area. Plenty of free parking right around the hotel. Right opposite the local pool.

Room was ok - we were given a senior room and taking a shower meant most of the floor in the bathroom got very wet (which means poor design). The breakfast was ok - not great but ok. Room was pleasant - about standard size for a hotel at this price point. Breakfast room food was ok. Nothing special. Pleasant backyard patio and cute indoor little play area for children (had not see this kind of thing in other hotels - pease see picture below
