A two room apartment for a family, able to accomodate up to six people. The beds are confortable. It has a reasonable kitchen and adequate bathroom. Nicely heated. It has car parking and is well located, about 0,5 km from the town of Akureyri. The self check-in via codes sent by email worked well and there was help by phone from the property owner which is a plus factor and customer friendly.

Lovely apartment and had no problems with arrangements for access. Kitchen was fully equipped and had use of washing machine and dryer. Plenty of bedding. Great location, close to town, shops, restaurants etc. Parking right next to apartment.

Stayed here for one night as part of our tour in North Iceland. Lovely apartment- we had everything needed. It's good location and we managed to have a lovely dinner in a nice restaurant. We were located on the ground floor and we have one bedroom with a sofa bed/ couch that folds.Would love to stay additional days to explore Arukeyri but we run out of time!

Gista is located just a short walk from the center of Akureyri (5 min) and from a supermarket (10 min). Just 15 minutes walk to the mall. Our apartment was on the top floor, 2 bedrooms (5 beds and a sofa bed) and fully equipped. There was a laundry in the ground floor to use and a nice back garden for dining outside. Very nice place, good service and nice host! Stongly recommended! Picture: midnight sun from kitchen window

We had a 1 bedroom apartment on the ground floor. There was also a fold out couch in the living room. The kitchen was fully equipped. There was a laundry in the back porch. It was very clean and comfortable. The bay and center of town was a short walk. A full grocery store was about 1 mile away. We were able to park on site with off street parking. We had to call the owner to come and let us in and give us the key. Most stores along the waterfront had pay phones. I just asked someone walking along if I could make a local call. The owner came in about 5 minutes. An excellent value in Akureyi. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
