Hotel Natur is located on a lovely fjord with a beautiful view. It's convenient to the charming capital "city" of North Iceland, Akureyri. Accommodations are clean and comfortable, but very basic. Nothing luxurious here, but we literally only slept and ate breakfast at the hotel. It suited our needs just fine.

Our tour company ran their first "Golden Road" trip around Iceland. One of our overnight stays was at the Hotel Natur. This is a very friendly family-owned hotel. The manager, Arnold, was extremely helpful. This was originally a farm house that has been expanded and much thought went into what their guests would like. The site overlooks a great Fjord...

We stayed in the new building across the room that has just been opened. What an amazing view from the end room (#14). The room is spacious and very clean. Only recommendation would be to install blinds on glass front door. Room has a balcony where we sat outside and enjoyed local beer. They have a cool tower you can...

That's exactly it. We happened to stay there in early July -- perfect timing for the Midnight Sun. There is a nice tower next to the main building for you to climb and watch the "setting/rising sun." VERY spacious rooms with good internet access. You will need extra towels to keep water from running out of the shower. Lovely spot...

Traveling with my wife and teenage daughter, sharing a triple room. Stayed for two nights. Looking at the management photos in Tripadvisor we get one idea but our reality was a bit different. Recently the hotel owner purchased a farm located 200 meters from the Hotel Natur to transform into a B&B (bed in the farm & breakfast in the...

This hotel is easy to find and has beautiful views of fjords and snow covered mountains. We saw a cruise ship go by. The room is small but clean, with a TV and Excellent wifi. There is an interesting lobby. There was no dinner served that night but there are fairly nearby alternatives. The woman who runs the hotel (owner?)...

The room was of a good size and clean, beds were comfy. Service was friendly from the owner to the waitstaff. The breakfast spread was great, and made for a great start to the day. Travelled in the winter and it was a warm, quiet, friendly place to stay.

This hotel is located in front of the Ejyafjordur very close to Akureyri. We stopped here as part of an Icelandic Farms arranged tour. We stayed at other great guest houses and hotels along Iceland in great farms. This one definitely does not make the cut. They have 10 rooms in a separate building which needs some serious updating. It...

The hotel Natur is situated about 15km out of the town in a beautiful location on the fjord. The views are stunning. We were checked in by a friendly guy and were allocated a room on the first floor looking out over the fjord. Be sure to request one of these, the views are superb! The room was simple but...

We stayed here for two nights and luckily scored a room with arguably the best fiord views imaginable. Everything about the hotel is modern, sleek and comfortable. Formally a working farm, don't be put off if you read that the hotel has been built from a converted farm barn....they have done an exquisite job. The family run enterprise is clearly...
