We spent two nights at Hotel Astor in August, and had a lovely time. Having a studio at the back was very convenient as we wanted to prepare our own food, though it could do with a refurb. The service offered at the hotel was excellent, and we really enjoyed the breakfast. I would definitely stay here again if I... More

The building was beautiful and the room I was staying in was excellent. The bed was very comfortable and sauna just awesome. If I'm going to visit Vaasa again, I'll definitely stay in this hotel again.

Have been to Vaasa a few times but this was the first time staying at Hotel Astor. First impressions were of stepping back in time to one of the nice hotels you see in the old films, compared to the present day sterile chain hotels. Basically - it has character. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful and happy to book... More

This nice hotel is not part of big hotel chains. Atmosphere is friendly and cosy. Old fashion feeling, but really nice. Rooms are good. Breakfast table had plenty if different choices. Something for everybody. Hotel has just few parking places, but public parking house is just 100 meters distance and hotel has special price. My wife and me liked this... More

Stayed here for one night in May 2016 on business. The room was small but clean and well equipped. The decor however I'm sad to say was very dated! My room was small with a single bed which I wasn't too keen on but it was very comfortable and fine for one night! Breakfast was nice. A good selection and... More

Worth to stay here, if you visit Vaasa. Opposite railway station, close to restaurants, all with in walking distance! Breakfast is worthwhile with so many options. The old room is very very well decorated. Helpful staff.
