It's a cute hostel. It has a Sauna can be booked. There are many supermarkets and restaurants around. It's surprise me one supermarket opens 24 hours. Bes is comfortable, and the staffs are friendly and helpful. Location is good. The tram 7 is just cross the street. The tram 7 goes directly to the west terminal.

The location is good, there are several restaurants and supermarkets nearby. A big and equipped kitchen. I didn't use it, but it looks good. The bed is comfortable than I thought. The 24h opened alepa surprised me. Easy check in and check out. Can store luggage before check in.

Toilet is reasonably clean and there are multiple ones around the apartment so you almost never have to wait to use a toilet because only very few ppl will be sharing one. I stayed during Christmas and free gingerbread cookies and glogi is provided for free in the common area - very festive and very sweet. There are some basic free food and snacks provided too if you're low on budget -jam, honey, tea, yogurt, pasta and chocolate.
There is no curfew and you'll be given the front door code alongside your keycard so you could get in the house any time you want. Checkout is also very simple, you only have to drop your keycard into the box.
Location is pretty great too and it's manageable even if this is your first trip to Helsinki. It's like a 3 minutes walk from the closest metro station. Theres a bus station with buses going directly to city centre and central railway station. Multiple supermarkets are around and theres one that opens 24/7.

There are bed bugs in the hostel. The staff had been alerted and called it a lie but the signs are clear. People get bitten during the night and the bites look exactly like bed bugs bites typically do. The sheets have tiny blood spots all over.
This is extremely irresponsible of them and they could be causing real problems to their guests if they don't take it seriously, close and do some pest control.

Really nice and friendly hostel in Helsinki with the cheapest prices. The staff are very welcoming and help you with the check in. There are lockets in room and operated with the key card so not need to bring an additional padlock. The hostel is situated very close to a metro stop two stops from the Central railway and is a nice 30min walk from the Senator Square. They're are good facilities for a hostel including clean sheets and bedding, towels are extra charge and fully operational kitchen. WiFi is good and space for eating, working and socialising. A possibility to rent a sauna and free use of computer. Some minor points for improvement, beds are squeaky, so late arrivals or early risers may disturb others sleeping. They are the metal bunk beds, with rather thin mattresses. They are OK to sleep in for a few nights, but not if you do not feel uncomfortable and need to move around in the night! The lighting system could be updated with more sensor based lighting, especially in the bathroom and toilet areas. The air quality is ok, but some people with sensitive allergies may find the air circulation is not the best. All in all, for the No frills hostel in Helsinki, it is probably the best for the price

The hosts did not seem to be an experienced one, but each one of them were warm and helpful. I liked their hospitality. The sauna they had inside was pretty good although it cost me 5 euro. It was worth the money. A 24-hour grocery store was located about 50 m away. A bar was there next door. A metro and bus station were located nearby as well.
On top of them, I really loved the drawing that were all over the place by drawn by hand with a marker. There were lots of kawaii characters every direction you turn to. That added to hospitality. I felt welcomed.
Also, the whole place were kept clean everyday by all of us, the hosts and guests. You don't want to come here if you don't care about this great culture.
Downsides would be...it doesn't have a sign outside. I got really frustrated dragging my heavy baggage back and forth around the block. Make sure you check the precise location beforehand. There are a few blue doors, one of which has a nano-sized label "SweetDream Guesthouse." That's the one. It took me a while to find the place. And make sure you are able to give a call or send a message to the host in case you are checking in late. Otherwise, hosts won't be there for you after 20:00, and you'll be stuck out in the cold. The room I stayed in was a mixed 6-bed room. It was really really tiny. I didn't feel comfortable staying in the room; I most of the time stayed in the lobby. Get a bigger room or make sure you can accommodate the tiny space.

We visited this hostel for a night and must say that we were a little afraid to make any sound since the place is SO quiet. I think that that there was not a full house during our atay, but at least 10 whispering people were seen:) Two showers seemed to be enough during our stay, no lines at any time of day or night. Very easy to check in and out and general card system also worked perfectly. The kitchen has everything needed to cook a meal and also some free food left behind by fellow travellers. The beds were superb for sleeping, but pillows ridiculously large, like climbing a small mountain:D overall good location-price ratio for Helsinki.

This guest house/hostel is quite small. There were only 2 bathrooms for everyone staying there. The rooms and lockers were small and my card would not work to open the locker. The bed was quite uncomfortable and squeaky. Plugs were available by the beds which was very convenient. I would only stay here for one or two nights of you can't find a better alternative.

Only had one night here as I was couch surfing the rest of the time but if I return to Helsinki (more like when - Helsinki is awesome!) then I’ll have more time here.
Booked a room at 7pm, got sent details to self check in prior to 8pm and let myself in at 10pm.
Beds were comfortable, the hostel nice, quiet and homely and the showers excellent. Next day I was able to leave my case at the hostel while I went to sight see and pick it up later that day. To top it off, Will, working there, was one the nicest guys I’ve had the pleasure of having a conversation with.
No complaints whatsoever and recommended.

Very nice Hostel, good for the price. About 10minutes by public bus from the central train station. Very helpful staff, corresponding by email as we had to check in very late and they left very detailed instructions. We booked the double room, kitchen was well stocked, the WiFi worked well and there was a guest computer as well, a sauna and roof terrace. Room and place was clean and tidy. Very useful hints and tips on where to go in Helsinki. Would recommend for a cheap, good place to stay for a couple of nights.
