Clean and upgraded version of hostel. This place offers both shared space with private sleep areas and small private rooms. All with shared bathrooms. I had a private room (n. 2). It was not much more than 2 chairs, table and beds. Nyt it was clean, quiet and acctually it also had a nice view. The place had rather nice...

Seeing that Helsinki was my first stop in my Europe trip, I wanted some peace and quiet and some solitude. If you're looking for that, this is perfect. If you take the Finnair City Bus from the Airport to the Central Railway Station, you'll see this building on the way. It is beside a supermarket which makes buying food and...

Myself and a friend stayed here during Flow Festival and I chose this hostel as it was walking distance to the festival and very cheap. It is not in the city centre and its takes about 20mins on a tram to get to the centre. It is very close to Kallio where there are plenty of bars Fro check in...

So, if you make a booking, via websites like all of us do, wait and see if you will get a confirmation from them directly. First of all, the check-in it is only at 4pm, which is unusual, then you get there to find out that you do not have the door codes and the reception, which was supposed to...

Vuokrahuone is an excellent hostel consept. If you are staying for 30 days or more, the price is only 11 euros per night in a shared alcove, which is a really good price in Helsinki! There are good tram and bus connections just outside the front door, and the bus stop for the airport bus 615 is just a couple...

First of all they say they will send you a code to open the door, they didnt send me anything, Luckily a guy was leaving the building and I could come in. Then there was nobody in the reception, so I had to phone to a number for them to give me the code. From Thursdays to Monday nobody in...

The place was definitely an effective place to stay in Helsinki. The price is good and affordable and moreover in terms of location it is perfect with tram stations and trains all running nearby and the main city center is close too. There are shops around for your convenience especially one being in the downstairs. There is a kitchen if...

I recently stayed here and was really impressed, especially for the price. I really enjoyed the location of this hostel, located in a nice, quiet residential area of Helsinki. It's about 1.5 miles to the city center, or a 45 minute walk. I also took the tram which was located right down the street from the hostel. In addition, the...

Definitely a hostel to consider if you're staying in Helsinki briefly. It's easy to find and easy to navigate around with bus stops in most directions and the tram line on the next block. There's a supermarket downstairs. There are no check-in procedures as the apartment doors are operated by key codes, not keys (which I found convenient as opposed...
