We stayed 3 nights, had a very big double room with double bed and a complete sofa set (a 3-seater plus 2 armchairs). The bathroom is small and has no bathtub. The shower area is not separated from the toilet so the whole bathroom gets wet. Both reception staff and dining room staff are very friendly and pleasant. Near the...

We stayed at Hotel Arthur during the busy Eurovision period. The staff were so friendly and helpful we felt welcome from the moment we arrived. They spoke perfect English, gave us really helpful tips about Helsinki, organised taxis' for us and made our stay really special. Even though they were fully booked and very busy, the staff always gave us...

Very helpful staff. Good location for the #6 & 3 tram. Close to the railway station. Lots of people from tour buses.,well used. It's much cheaper to book thru the internet. Big breakfast room and lots of chow,no fried eggs tho. There are smoking rooms so be prepared for the smell. Post cards & stamps available. Couldn't figure out how...

Arthur is a well located hotel right next to a bus stop and a tram stop. There is a direct bus No. 615 from the airport (35 minutes) every 20 minutes which drops you at the railway station from where the hotel is a 5 minute walk. The entrance is from the backside - a little confusing. The rooms are...

This Hotel is centrally located in downtown Helsinki. The room was a little shabby, but servicable. Make sure you as for a room away from the busy intersection on the corner, the trucks grind through all night long. Good breakfast, friendly staff. Good for a place to stay, not an attraction in itself.

Hotel Arthur is easy to find. Not far from the main train station. The bus from the airport (615, Eur 3.60/one way) stops in front of the station (actually drives past the hotel) and from there it is a 5 min. walk uphill. Rooms are pretty basic and clean. The bathroom is kind of a wet cell as there is...

This hotel is located very conveniently in the center of the city - close to the train station and the market square. The room was spacious and clean, although the choice of wall colors could have better. The breakfast was excellent with many choices. Overall, it is a decent option in this expensive city.

The hotel is very centrally located, just a 10-minute stroll to Helsinki's south harbour, with the main shopping streets even nearer. The included breakfast is adequate. The price (EUR 73) is good value. The room (twin for single use) is fine for one, although it may be a squeeze if both people had large suitcases. The bathroom had only a...

Our family of four stayed in a room with four single beds. The room was a fine size, with a sitting area, it was clean, and the beds were adequate. Several interesting features were the double doors on each room, and odd optical illusion in the hall (making the second hall appear like a mirror on the wall) and tiny...
