Our recent stay at Haaga central park was very enjoyable, the rooms are small but very clean and the fridge was a great bonus enabling us the keep drinks chilled in the room. The swimming pool was a great facility to have.
There was a trainee lady on reception who was most helpful and friendly, she recommended a local fish restaurant 5 minutes from the hotel near the railway station and called to make a reservation for us, she was also full of information to make our stay more enjoyable. Well done.
The breakfast was fantastic with a very wide range of items available along with several juices and fresh coffee, a wonderful start to the day we could not fault it.
Taxi to the centre of Helsinki was 20 minutes and cost €43 and to the airport was €39, we would definitely use the hotel again in the future.

The staff was friendly and accommodating when travelling with a pet (poop bags and food bowl in the room waiting, plus the room location at the end of the corridor to minimise disturbance). The sauna and breakfast could have been available from a bit earlier on, for business travellers the day started before having a chance to enjoy either. So happy that there was instant coffee in the room. Rooms quiet and very clean.Good shampoo products.

Good value for money, very nice, helpful staff and plentiful breakfast. Nice hot shower and clean rooms. Some of the decor could do with improving but the pool and sauna were a very pleasing addition.
My only criticism would be the lack of food choices if you were confined to the area. My husband was taken ill during our trip & not being able to venture out we were limited to what we could find to eat. Not being a central city location there were very few options outside the hotel also.
Nevertheless the bus service into central Helsinki was frequent and reliable so location would not be a drawback if you were out and about.
Wi-fi was a bit patchy but not a major issue.
My only criticism would be the lack of food choices if you were confined to the area. My husband was taken ill during our trip & not being able to venture out we were limited to what we could find to eat. Not being a central city location there were very few options outside the hotel also.

I appreciated that the younglady at the reception and the cleaning personal speak Russian and the waiter at the restaurant speaks French (that was much easier for me than English). My room 224 was very comfortable. Could be better : I didn't understand how the radio works (I like classical music) and for a longer stay the evening menus at the restaurant would have not been various enough. But when I'll come back to Helsinki, it will be in your hotel

The walls had painting falling apart, there were cracks in the walls, that plastic doors of the shower were falling. From outside when you take a look to the walls there is painting falling apart and looks bad. For the price they charge they should repaint and clean the metal parts of the building. The sauna is really beautiful and the pool as well. The location is really good and there are buses coming all the time

The hotel is good and has a location where it is easy to get to and from by local traffic train or bus from the center of Helsinki, a small but useful walk from the stop and you are at the hotel. You can easily get to or from the airport by taxi.

The hotel was very good, nice rooms and a good breakfast. Unfortunately the wifi didn't work in our room and the staff was only able to tell us that the wifi sometimes fluctuates and they can't do much about it. We do have parking spaces. As 250pasir mentions, we have a garage, the cost is of 14€/night. We also have parking outside the hotel in the yard, that is 10€/24hrs during weekdays, from Monday at 7:00 am until Friday at 6:00 pm. There are also places alongside the road, that are free.
