We landed from Ivalo and hired a car from the airport. Arrived to Guesthouse Husky (which is easy to find on the SatNav/ Google maps). Our room wasn't ready and the owner suggested we can play with the puppies and do a Husky tour in the meantime. The Huskies are friendly and super excited We went for an hour Husky... More

Beautiful location, incredibly scenic. It's some ways away from Ivalo's main township, so do stop by the S-mart first on your way down from the airport for some grocery shopping. The guesthouse is gorgeous with friendly staff and delicious home-cooked dinners (do book in advance!) You can play with the numerous dogs and puppies (and learn all their names). Do... More

The guesthouse is located inside the woods, a few kilometers from Ivalo (4.5 km of rough street). Rooms are clean, cozy and really nice. The owner is really kind and supportive. Breakfast rich and various. A great place for silence and nature lovers.

Basic accommodations and food, but staying here for a few days was one of my best trips ever, ever. You feel away from 'real life' and truly with nature. The owners and staff are all warm and delightful people, and being on the husky grounds is special, almost magical. The dogs are sheer joy to watch and play with and... More

We had a short stay at the quad room upstairs. The room is tidy, comfy and quiet. Outi is a great host, helpful and hospitable. She offered us overalls, gloves, socks and boots to keep us warm for our northern light chasing even though our husky ride was on the following day. The husky ride was great fun, wish we... More

We had a lovely stay, for 5 days in the guesthouse. The people are very friendly and helpfull. It's only a pity that the husband of Outi,Juha, doesn't speak so much English. On the 2 day overnight husky safari, we were just with the two of us, and it would be nice, if we could have some conversations with Juha.... More

Guesthouse husky exceeded my expectation, considering it already had a 5 mark-rating. The rooms were clean and large, the 3 course dinners were one of the better meals we've had in Finland. And how can you beat a guesthouse with over 140 huskies on the premises. Well behaved huskies that even as a light sleeper, I was not bothered once... More

Spent a weekend at this Guesthouse, warmly greeted by the owners and shown to a well appointed room with ensuite, excellent facilities and good wholesome Lapland food. Took the opportunity to drive a team of six huskies on a three hour trek through stunningly beautiful forests with super snow cover. Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts, or their... More

Located a short distance from Ivalo village, in the middle of the woods, this guesthouse will surprise you with its charm, comfort and warmth. Large wood paneled rooms, comfortable storage space and bathroom, and a common kitchenette to have hot drinks whenever you like. Generous buffet breakfast. Delicious local food for the 3 course set menu in the evening with... More

Were on a husky safari today during our stay in inari. It was absolutely worth it to come here! Absolutely friendly guides and the opportunity to be drivers of a sledge for ourselves. Thanks for a nearly 3 hours tour with a lot of impressions from this beautiful country with very friendly dogs
