I have the opportunity to recently have experienced other hotels in Gothenburg in this time period. This hotel offers excellent room quality. Spacious, good condition, nicely decorated. Nice lobby, great breakfast and good service in relation to the current price. Location is central and the staff accommodated some custom requests I had.

Couldn’t praise the staff at this hotel highly enough. Very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Easy walk into the city. Beautiful hotel. The only slight niggle was that the mattress was really soft which is not too our liking but everything else was excellent.

Great location. The hotel itself looks modern, staff generally friendly. We found the bed a little soft for our liking but I can imagine it's fine for everyone else. They didn't have any extra pillows which was odd ... An extra request for a fruits plate (that would have been charged for) was not met. They did try to compensate by saying they'll give. Free one, but it didn't happen in the end. So if you're booking this place to celebrate something special and request for something which you will pay for - probably triple check with them before you check in.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Radisson Hotel. The hotel had friendly, helpful staff and great facilities. My room was the perfect size and layout for my needs. Having restaurants and a spa on site was also incredibly handy. Overall a fantastic atmosphere and stay.

This hotel is located very good in the center of Gothenburg at Central station, with parking facilities in the neighborhood. The staff is very friendly and they have an excellent breakfast buffet. It is always a pleasure to arrive at this hotel.

Well, Radisson Blu Scandinavia is not actually new, it has been here for many years and I must have stayed here 100+ nights when I worked in Gothenburg. Since then it has been refurbished maybe a few years ago and it's now a different hotel. Now, my recent visit was Friday to Sunday during a national vacation week ("sportlov") so I guess the experience is different compared to a normal weekday stay. Anyway we arrived Friday at 6pm and the hotel ground level was basically a night club with loud music, crowded, No way to have a meal nor a drink as the only bar had 3-4 people barrier to reach the bar desk. It was explained that this is a Friday "after work" thing and not so the rest of the week. Now, we had booked "executive rooms" which includes eligibility to visit the executive lounge. This is interesting, normally the lounge concept is common at Hilton, Marriot and some American hotels. This is the first time I see it in a Nordic hotel. The lounge is at level 1 and very chic. It's not big, maybe 20 seats. Cocktail hours are 5pm to 7pm with complimentary drinks and snacks served by the staff. It was not close to crowded during my two day stay. Excellent view over "Drottningtorget" and the Central train station. Some food snacks but you can't substitute this for dinner. Ok, the room. It was good, clean, a nice kingsize bed and sleep quality second to none. Excellent bed, duvet and pillows. Top notch". Clean bathroom with rainshower shower. No bathtub. If only the water pressure had been a little stronger, but this is how it is in these eco environmental times. A well stocked minibar in the room but it wasn't restocked daily, maybe because it was a weekend. Breakfast is high quality with what you can expect; baked beans, scrambled eggs, sausages, fried bacon, pancakes. My only complaint is the logistics, six rather small elevators are used in this five story building. This became a bottleneck in a fully booked hotel and you had to wait 5-10 minutes as elevators were full. On this stay one elevator was out of service so only five working. No stairs option as I could see. In summary, an excellent hotel in the very central of Gothenburg. Go for executive rooms if you can to get lounge with the cocktail hour.…

The breakfast was quite ordinary, but with many dirty tables. Friday afternoon/evening was very noisy with loud music until late. The cleaning of the room was not ok. They forgot our room one of the days, and the other days they forgot old food/used cups and nothing felt clean afterwards.
