A warm welcome from reception and assistance with parking details. There is always a tasty cake available in the lobby when you need a snack. The halls here are quiet and warmly decorated with spot-lit prints on the walls wood paneling. Soft music plays. There is a lift but after using it to deliver our luggage we always used the central staircase in an art nouveau style. Our room is actually 2 small rooms which are very unsuitable for us. We return to reception to request another room. This one is a nice size, furniture is old-fashioned but tasteful with wood parquet floors, a neutral wallpaper, floral drapes, a solid color upholstered easy chair, a desk with a “French” provincial style chair. There is white crown moulding, a chandelier hanging from a rosette, a desk lamp and 2 small wall lamps above the bed. The bed is a queen and has 4 postage size pillows. There is only one bedside table. There is a full length mirror and art work on the walls. The bathroom is small but well lit and adequate. The buffet breakfast is the best we had in two months of travel in Europe. Wonderful waffles, crispy bacon, fabulous granola, a separate gluten-free toaster (amazing), beautiful scrambled eggs. All so fresh and delicious. The ambiance at the Royal is very pleasant and cozy. The location is excellent and we enjoyed 3 nights here...and 3 breakfasts!

Hotel's Favorite
I very much loved Hotel Royal. It has an absolute charm - especially comparing to typical business hotels. Interiors, rooms, service - all is great. And it's located very conveniently - walking distance from the city centre.

I stayed for 2 days. Had a bigger room with a big Sofa and a very comfortable bed. Bathroom is tiny but good enough. Very clean and top friendly stuff at the reception. Breakfast is good enough, plenty of delicious food. The Hotel is right in the center, many Restaurants around....perfect. Coming again, feel very home despite of my cold....🤧

Loved this hotel, it is so full of character. All the staff were so helpful, one receptionist in particular offered us her own phone charger when we forgot our adapter. Eventually she found a hotel adapter which we used but thought she was so kind to offer her own. Our superior room was so spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable, the breakfast was fabulous. The highlight was coming in every evening to a lovely cup of tea and some yummy home made cake!!! I would whole heartedly recommend this hotel

We had an excellent stay at Hotel Royal. Firstly we were upgraded to the next room type. Great room - clean and attractive interior. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Nice touch with complimentary tea & coffee in lobby, as well as cake in the afternoons. Very central location.
