At the time of our travel (November 2016) the uppest two floors of the hotel were according to the staff under renervation. There was nothing you could see of ongoing work, but due to the renovation some rooms (or even floors) were not up to the standard shown in the images of the hotel. They were not bad rooms, just...

I stayed at the hotel for three days. Since I was on the business trip I took a single room and stayed there only during evenings. Room was small but comfortable enough, with big desk, bed and sofa and of course wardrobe. Bathroom was clean and big enough for one person. The room was very quiet during evenings (with window...

a cozy and charming small hotell in the middle of Gothenburg. Not one that I would recomend for families, but for singels or couples it would do very nice. Our room was facing the street, which was very noisy and busy well into the night.

To make my self clear; I always strive to be utmost objective in all my reviews and i am a person who gives everybody a chance until I'm proven otherwise. That being said, let's make this short and sweet... Well, it wasn't that sweet actually. - bad cleanliness - fungus in the shower - TINY elevator (maximum two travel bags)....

As a family of four, we stayed at the Onyxen as we took part in one of Gothenburg's great attractions; that of 65,000 people running a half marathon. Obviously, this puts a few hotels out of rooms, so this was a decent option. We had requested a parking spot beforehand, but that could not be guaranteed. There was a spot...

Me and my family, stayed at hotel Onyx for 3 nights and the experience was mixed. Hotel staff was nice and helpful and the price of the room was lower than many other hotels we looked at. Location is excellent for most activities, also close to the tram. Hotel is old and rooms did not have a good standard. We...

This hotel has a nice, quaint wood-oriented decor. The room I had is small (as is typical in Europe) but comfortable, with a desk, single bid, sitting chair, and shower, and boasted a high ceiling. The staff are very pleasant and the free breakfast is nice. The hotel is located about 5 minutes' walk from the main street, and 10-15 minutes'...

For visiting concerts in Scandinavium or Liseberg this hotel has a perfect location. Shoppingarea 15 minutes walk from the hotel. If you don`t want to walk, you can take the tube. The elevator was small....so we walk the stairs instead! Good service from the friendly staff in the reception, both day and night :) Nice and clean rooms. Some rooms...
