Had visited the restaurant Atelier a number of times. So when we were planning 2 whole months of holiday in Europe, we definitely booked to stay at Pigalle in July. We booked last October. A Royale room with breakfast included - all very exciting. Then ... COVID-19. So we contacted Pigalle in late April to say we didn't think we could make it. Australia closed our border and said we couldn't leave. Qantas cancelled all flights. But no answer from Pigalle. Finally, on the day we were supposed to start our stay, they said NO REFUND. Then they refused further correspondence. So they got $1,300 (which I paid in October 2019 in full) for providing absolutely no service whatsoever. I can heartily recommend to fellow travellers that you view booking there with a level of caution, perhaps even trepidation. Becuase they do not care about "weak" excuses like your own government won't let you travel, and the airline you are flying with have grounded their fleet.

Pigalle is a red district in Paris, where attitude is for survival. At this Pigalle hotel attitude in overpowering smell, in cramped front desk, in abandoned ground floor bar, in red corner room with steps everywhere preventing any sort of wheelchair to penetrate, in cramped shower, in absence of space for toiletries, soap holder in pool of water. But GOOD beds, honest service with smile. Probably the only good rooms are the suites. For a 2016 redesign, not impressed. I don’t believe Pigalle will become a hotel brand. You judge.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful building with high ceilings and huge windows. The ambience was very nice and the staff in reception and brakfest incredibly helpful. Good breakfast, great location. Very recomendable, I will go back. We stayed for one night, got upgraded to a room with a bigger bed. The room was spacious. Bathroom had a shower and a little guest set of Molton Brown products. We wasn’t disturbed much from the sound of traffic or any sounds. Slept well. Used the fan we found in the room. We didn’t got that good service in the evening at the terrace. Terrace- A great place for a meal or to relax with a drink. Waitress forgot to serve us the chocolate to our drinks. The red wine was to warm, No water came with the red wine. After one hour she served the chocolate with no notice my wine glass was empty. She rushed away. Waited for some time hoped to order another glass but she didn’t came back to us in the corner. She was much talkative to the other guests. Three guests came to late but got served anyway. I then walked after the waitress as I understood they already had taken the last order. Told her I would like to order more wine to have with the chocolate. She told me they were closed but could offer me wine to drink in my room. Hmm, 2 minutes earlier the three got served. She forgot the pralines. Served them after one hour, hastily put them on our table. Didn’t notice the wine glass was empty. Didn’t come back to us to take a new order or gave us a chance to do a last order before closing down. This was not that professional! Anyhow, We loved our stay at the hotel and will come back!

Perfectly located in the heart of the old town, very close to central station, tramways, NK department store and all shopping, restaurants even if you want to dine at hotel restaurant which is amazing with a roof top for cocktails. Very cosy decoration and hip. Breakfast buffet is amazing, my room very comfortable with a nice marble bathroom and luxury bathing products from Molton Brown. Front desk staff was so helpful and efficient. I was there on a business trip but could easily stay there for a romantic hideaway. Loved it
