Nice light interior decor. Clean rooms. Well soundproofed. Reasonable prices. Negative: 1.'In your face' security. 2.Friendly but poorly trained interns. 3.Bathroom door that wouldn't close and washbasin with partially clogged drain would indicate poor management. 4.Room invaded by cleaners in morning without knocking 5.Hotel doesn't take cash anywhere 6.Response to Covid 19 is to remove breakfast buffet and replace with table service and a breakfast of hotels choice - what a terrible waste of food. Gästs want to choose what they want to eat for breakfast themselves! 7.Impossible to book garage space on website
The receptionist were always very nice and helpful. The reception was small and felt narrow as people passing by for the elevators. Hotel guests in a mix with rooftop guests. We had a one night stay in room #401 Classico Double Room - a very small room with an armchair and a table desk but no place for clothes. The big issue was that the room was facing the street and it was loud and noice until 4 am. Serious problem for us to manage to fall a sleep.Understood afterwards it is nowdays a party street (music, people & police car sirens) We experienced the hotel a bit busy and hectic.Maybe it was so because of the summer season. We didn't really feel that we were seen as guests of the hotel. No information or suggestions on pre book tables for dinner when we checken in. The rooftop bar wasn't that spectacular. The rooftop staff wasn't that helpful or service minded. But even all of this we give good recommendations on the hotel to guests who want to stay in a more lively area. The restaurant gave us 100% excellent service, Delicious Real Italian pizza, beer and wine. We will surely come back to eat again but will choose to stay at Hotel Pigalle.…
An excellent hotel on Aveyn, wonderful design and breakfast. Restaurant & bar area was vibrant, staff was friendly and helpful, check-in & check-out were such efficient, WiFi was working perfectly. My fav hotel in Goteborg!
Fun boutique hotel in the heart of GOT. Rooms were on the small side but cute. Staff were all babes but totally uninterested in customer service. Rooftop bar is a good place to spend an afternoon. Avoid rooms that are close to the boxing ring as you will hear the noise from 6am-11om
Had heard a lot about this hotel and stayed here for 2 nights. Booking via their website was smooth, and the check in and check out was without any hassle. Friendly and nice staff along with great location. The room had its negative aspects but overall impression is pretty OK. I was expecting a little more due to prior expectations and the price. The hallway looks like a combo of Finlandsfärja meets The Shining, made me giggle. I don't regret staying here, but there are way better hotels in the close proximity for the same price.
