Let me start with this hotel is in the most amazing location overlooking an inlet. Sadly it goes downhill from there - the hotel is budget. The beds are comfortable and there is plenty of hot water. The showers are old and a bit mouldy and the shower attachment in our room was broken. There is a fridge but no kettle. Breakfast was Ok but if you get there too late they do run out of things like fresh fruit.

The room was small and very old furniture, bathroom was old too, not so clean ( because of oldnes ), tv was very small and we had problems with tv beyond that. The breakfast was poor. Location is good. The staff is not so polite and they do not work after 10 p.m.
Poor value for money.

Hotel is a little bit old fashioned, but clean and with very pleasant service. Location is great - it is located in mediterranean forest very close to the sea and with beach on 50m distance.
It will be nice to invest more in renovation of rooms. Also, restaurant Propuh where we had by hotel organized dinner provides terrible service for hotel guests: small portions of untastefull food and rough service.

Located on the beach, in pine woods, 5 mins walks from the center - this is a dreams come true place. The furniture is not the newest - but who cares, it is all clean, the air conditioning is working and the personel will help you immediatelly if you have an issue. Breakfast offers a lot of options - no complaints! There is always free space in the parking lot.

The staff was very helpful and gave us all the information we needed. The location of the hotel is wonderful and so calm. However the room itslef was probably never renovated since the 1970s so it had old fuelrniture and bed sheets, dirty walls, old bathroom..and a strange smell. probably could find better for 45e per person

Great location. Nice views from restaurant
No useful services eg washing machine
Could be lovely
Rooms small but functional. Decorated in tired floral and brwon carpets
But tired. Dirty
Breakfast is ok
Plenty of restaurants within 5 min walk
Clearly a good base for swimming trips

This is not modern hotel, but very clean and good location under pine trees. Close to the beach, where you can expect a lot of people. Simple breakfast, lady at servise definitly deserves a bonus. Few minutes of walk to centre of Sali.

Lovely location and great views. However, mouldy bathrooms with ancient broken shower fittings. Small single beds with narrow sheets.
Breakfasts OK.
The structure of the buildings great and with a bit of money spent it could be an amazing hotel

My boyfriend and I spent a week here in early August 2012. Our private accommodation had fallen through and we were worried by a few reviews - but the hotel was nice, it was clean, the staff friendly, the breakfast nice and the air conditioning works well. It is more expensive than private accommodation but was secure and a nice place to stay. The shower was a little fragile but worked fine. Don't expect 4* luxury but it is very nice! The only thing we would not recommend is the half-board food provided at a nearby restaurant. Was the worst, poor quality meal we had all week. Just get Bed and Breakfast.... and have food at other places in the town.

We stayed here for 5 nights bed and breakfast having brought the car across on the ferry from Zadar. We had a room on the ground floor of a two storey block with a balcony overlooking the sea. The room which had been decorated in an attractive manner was quite large and contained a safe and fridge. The only downside was the shower which took a long time to produce any hot water first thing in the morning.
The buffet breakfast was taken in the reception building a few minutes walk away. The views from the tables on the balcony were marvellous. There was a good selection but I must mention in particular the superb coffee and breads.
The hotel is situated in a wooded area above a public bathing area which was never busy and where the swimming was excellent. The harbour of Sali with a number of restaurants, shop, post office, ATM is about 10 minutes walk by road. An alternative, longer route with several benches is the coastal path which has lovely views.
The car was used to drive the length of the island in order to visit other beaches (mainly stony) and small harbour towns ( most of which have excellent bathing facilities eg Savar and Luka) as well as the Telascica park (entrance fee 50 kunars each). After visiting the view point overlooking the sea, we walked from the car park to Lake Mir where we took a dip in the warm water. There was hardly any traffic and few signs of public transport.
Five days was perfect to explore the island and have a relaxing time. The restaurants in Sali were fine one of which we visited twice - Marinov Magazin. Incidentally a lightning strike meant there was no internet and landline so we could not use credit cards. The ATM soon ran out of cash and apparently is only topped up 2 or 3 times a month. Fortunately we had enough cash for meals and the return ferry and the hotel let us pay when we returned to England. So make sure you have plenty of cash if you visit the island.
Five days was ideal to have a relaxing time and also to explore this beautiful island.
