The hotel’s location on the Danube’s riverbank is agreeable. The hotel is needing remodulation – it’s not anymore, a three stars hotel, in particular the rooms. In fact, they should erase the word Design from the hotel’s name. The staff is friendly, and the breakfast is good. Enjoy!

In over 5 years, I have now visted this hotel 15+ times, and have regularly used their rooms as “remote office”. I am still Very Happy with this hotel. Location is Great (Danube, bus-station, food, drinks, Zemun, all in walking distance) Booking (mostly via mail, but sometimes last-minute-telephone) is always smooth. Reception and other staff are Friendly and helpful. Rooms are consistent quality, I have not had problems with mosquitos, airco or plumbing, and sleep is always Excellent. Wifi has improved over the years and is now very Stable (and all my devices still connect automatically…) Breakfast is good, and the coffee-machine has some Great Tasting Coffee. Laundry-service is also impeccable: they clean the stuff where the more expensive chain-hotels put a sticker “unfortunately failed to remove stain” (oil/grease from motorcycle). Motorcycle- or car-parking in front is no problem. And there is a large choice of food and drink opportunities in walking distance. All in all, I will keep visiting this hotel as long as I work in the area or travel through Serbia. SideOne is one of my Bases in the Balkan, if you like.

I expected more, must say, because of name (Design), but location is so good by the river on Kej oslobođenja, perfect for a walk and enjoying in good restaurants and evening fun. The price was very good all in all it was OK. Everybody working in hotel are very sympathetic and helpful. Breakfast very good but everything cold. Need to think of something to keep food hot. Room not very big and bathroom not very clean, pillows ugly and not good for sleeping, but I kind of like it and can come here again. If they just take a little bit of more care for this things. And yes, nothing of free parking, or better to say if you can find a parking on the street what is almost impossible they will pay for it and it will be free for you,but free parking means something different for me.

We booked this hotel for a three days city break. My vote for this hotel i 7/10 giving a space for improvement. The stay was nice, but we expected a little more for a design hotel. Pros: - excellent location Zemun, in front of the Danube with a lot of facilities. - close to the public transportation - excellent, educated and kind Staff 10 +++ (front desk receptionist, maid and serving) Cons: - tub leaking - bugs in the room (as close to the river, must add the mosquito net) - inclined bed (broken before, but not fixed as well, so the mattress was inclined. As result I slept like on the titanic)

Hotel is in front of Danube river, in Zemun. very beautiful location. there are 3 bus stationsm a local market and some shops and many resturant and bars near the hotel. you can go to downtown in 30 minutes. But hotel is not real 3 star. the rooms are small and breakfast dishes are not very clean. nosy rooms, one room had very cold air conditioning, the other room the air condition didn’t cool at all. more than of staffs were good and kind.

We booked at another hotel on the other side of Belgrade, Villa Mystique. But when we turned up they told us there was a problem, so they changed our booking to here. In their brochure it says “free parking”, there is NO parking on site. You have to find your own parking on the street somewhere, which is very crowded, especially on weekends. The rooms are small, we had 2 rooms for our family of 4, one rooms had very cold air conditioning the other room the air conditioning didn’t cool at all. The windows were tiny and made no difference if you had them open. After staying at Villa Mystique this hotel was a huge disappointment. The only things that were good was the breakfast and the location was close to the river, great restaurants and the town center markets.

It is not very big but is located in a nice and quiet place of Zemun. Danube river is on the opposite and some rooms have view of it. The bus stop to center of Belgrade is about 15-minutes walk away. There are fabulous cafes and restaurants nearby that will offer you the best meals, friendly services at affordable prices. Staffs are very pleasant, cool, helpful and polite. Although breakfasts were enjoyable, delicious and plentiful, they weren't diverse enough. The room and bathroom was clean, but the blanket and coverlet were not completely neat. The hotel doesn`t have any elevator. The rooms don`t have safe and telephone, but I used the hotel reception safe.

Stayed in the hotel for one night only. The conditions inside the room are 2 stars at the best... window closing mechanism not working, hot water is a gamble, bed mattress was hard, the shower was leaking water. Not all rooms have a view of the river. The staff was friendly and helpful during our short stay. The position of the hotel is ideal, just a couple of metres from the river promenade. Not so close to the city centre though, as you need to walk about 40 minutes to get there or take a taxi(8 EUR cost ). Parking is a complete nightmare around the hotel and also anywhere in the city.

I had a flight with an overnight layover in Belgrade and have been trying to find the best place to stay at, without having to sacrifice the ability to take a walk riverside and enjoy the city for a bit! To sum it up, I feel like I've won lottery with this hotel! It is only 10 km from the airport (taxi will cost you 1400 dinars one way, or about €10) and is right by the Danube riverwalk. There are plenty of little street food options on the riverwalk, and so many locals just enjoying the evening stroll. There are plenty of restaurants and cafe bars around, which comes in handy as hotel restaurant is open for breakfast only. The hotel itself is amazing! I would definitively say it is a 4-star disguised as a 3-star hotel. Beautiful interior design, clean modern rooms and very, VERY helpful staff! Definitely recommend this hotel!

This Hotel is good Value for money. It's cheap and clean. The Staff are very friendly and helpful. We booked a room for 3 nights but when we saw our room it was a smoking room. It smelled slightly of old smoke and lemon air refresher. We asked for a nonsmoking room and they promised that we get one the next day as there were non available. The next day we got a new nonsmoking room with a view of the Danube. It's not a classic Design Hotel, but slightly stuck in a post socialist style. It's just on the Danube River in a quiet street. Parking is payed for by the Hotel but you need to park on the Street in front of the Hotel. The area Zemun is great for walking along the River. A lot of nice Restaurant and Bars in the area. Breakfast is a Buffet with a lot of variety.
