The view of the Danube River from my room was very nice (stay on the river side if you can). The rooms could definitely use an upgrade or restoration to the time when the hotel was built: peeling paint, uncomfortable beds. Stayed here due to the history of the hotel and it’s architecture. Very affordable. Breakfast is included and very good. Close to floating restaurants.

Dirty and not heated rooms. Horrible experience. This is a very old hotel which is not managed at all. Filthy carpets, cold bathrooms it is one of the worst experiences you can have in Belgrade. I would strongly advise any traveller to avoid this hotel.

This hotel hosts crowded loud rock concerts outside the rooms until 2am making it impossible to sleep. You can’t even get into the hotel because security goons will prevent you from doing so. Even worse is the condescending dismissive attitude of the staff towards paying guests, saying they have no right to complain because the government t allows them to do this. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

i had a short overnight stay in Belgrade so was looking for a basic hotel near airport for just a short sleep. it is apparent that hotel is very old and that you can stay from both outside and internal sides. The ar trying to upgrade the hotel but it a huge property and such extnesive renovation needs time and money. The only part is renovated in the lobby and reception and nothing else. The hotel was build during communist time and until now nothing has changed in the interiod of the hotel and room. So you can take a tast of accomodation during communist times. Rooms indeed very spacious with balcony but that it iis th only good thik. The room was not cleaned properly and that you could see in the carpet as well in the WC as the toilet trash box was not cleaned and there was the remaining from previous guests. Next to the hotel is burger shop which is open 24/7 and it good for travellers. The airport is justa 8-10 mins ride depending of traffic.

The reception is nice, rooms need renovation. They are clean but especially bathrooms are very old. It ok for a one night stay when everything else is packed. The hotel is huge and when it will be renovated it will be a star as it was once upon a time.

I stayed 1 night again after 4 years. Nothing changed. It was a gorgeous building 50 years ago but now very old. It is only for a short stay and to sleep at a cheap hotel. No doubt about cleanness but especially bathroom was very old and you hesitate to go in. Closet was not fix and moving when you sit on. I stayed at a street view room and the restaurant at the garden play very noisy movies after midnight at open air. I was very tired and slept but it was difficult to sleep with this movie noise. Staff was friendly. Wifi was okay and free. There are some free spaces to park your car. It is easy to go downtown by public bus. Breakfast was very poor.

At the beggining I was able to cope with the misfortunes that my room served me such as rusty orange tap water, doubtfully clean carpet, unsufficent lightning from artificial sources, unbound floor tiles on the balcony, doorknob that stays in your hand and the air current that is created whey you open the balcony from the closed dilapidated front room door, but the last straw of my patiens was pulled out when a robbery occured in my room. After I put the sign "Please clen my room", my room was cleaned along with my money in 3 different currencies from 2 different wallets which were plased in the bottom of a closed bagpack. I immediately reported that to the reception wich led me to loose my privaciy for a second time because the hotel maids were told to go trough all my stuff. I reached to the hotel manager, but she was not speaking English fluently. She told me that "this never happened before" which means either that she does not know what to do in this situation or she does not want to do anything about the problem. She offered a free lunch wich was in a inappropriate time regarding the plans I had and not corresponding to the stolen amount or call the police wich was also not available option for me regarding my limited stay in the country.

This hotel is for those who look for something "special". It is obvious that the hotel has its best times over. However, it has this unique atmosphere you feel from its decoration and facilities and most importantly it serves its purpose of accommodation. The staff at the reception was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was above average.Decor and furniture is old, but the sleep was comfortable and you get a calming view if your window faces river Danube. Minus was a cigarette smell we got into our room. I think not all employees follow rules of non-smoking room (when working in staff only rooms).

Except from a clean sheet and pillowcase there was nothing even remotely ok about it. The bathroom was horrendous and the room fixtures were so old and smelling like mold that it made sleeping quite difficult. Also, having a room with a balcony meant hearing loud music all night long from the restaurants and discos just across because the windows were obviously also from the last century.
