solid hotel. the service is okay. the rooms are perfectly fine. nice and quiet location. the only drawback of the hotel: the parking of the hotel is not indicated which one it is, they have two. so that everyone who goes: my advice, when you turn from the main road to the hotel, the royal left is the hotel parking lot, not the one that leads straight and right.

Very old hotel, the location is top but hotel is like it was in 1980. Nothing renovated, bathroom 40 years old, furniture smells bad, isolation is really bad. Only thibg that is good is breakfast. Years ago there was 400 rooms, noe probaly only 100 and also this 100 are bad. Hotel is like an abandoned place. Go somewhere else. Not worth the money!

Horrible. Stay clear! When we have moved in to our room, we found the room in a total mess. Although reception told us the room was done, it wasn't. We asked the cleaner on the floor to do our room she attended it quickly. But we noticed that the soap bottle was empty after the room service. We informed the reception and the cleaner total of 4 times but still no action was taken. In the end I went to the reception and demanded a bottle of soap and told them that I would not leave without it. After the reception making a phone call to the "soap master" they promissed that I would have it within 5 minutes. On my way back to my room the cleaning lady removed a bottle of soap from another room and gave it to me. Minutes later the soap master showed up with a couple of bottles of soap. When he saw the full bottle he assumed that I lack the ability to differentiate between an empty bottle and a full one. He became pretty rude believing that he was sent to the room for nothing. I must say I didn't speak the local language and they didn't speak English. This must have contributed to the misunderstanding but it is no excuse to be rude against the hotel patrons. After all it is only a bottle of hand soap. I do recommend anyone against staying in this hotel.

Once the most luxourios hotel in Belgrade now shows marks od wear. Rooms are very large and spatious with separate seating corner and the beds were comfortable. Bathroom was also very large with a big bathtub. Hotel is located just on the Dunabe quay close to the popular raft restaurants and rooms have a beautifull sight over the river. Cleaningness is good and stuff is very polite. Breakfast was very good and offered different meals and pastry. Parking for the hotel guests is free. Just in front of the hotel there is a public bus stop so moving to the center of the city is very easy. Defenetely recomending if you do not want to spend fortune on staying few nights in Belgrade.

We chose this hotel because of its historic significance and because of the free parking. We have regrets, though. For the same price we definitely could have stayed somewhere much nicer. This hotel basically seems like no one cares. The first thing I noticed when walking into the room was the weird smell of electric/burning, like when your hair dryer or curling iron starts to overheat. The bathroom ceiling was moldy and dirty and had something fuzzy sticking out of one corner. There was what I think was cat hair all over the blankets. The room definitely hadn't been vaccumed recently, and I found a previous guest's contact lense on the floor. There were blood stains on the bath mat and one of the towels, as well as smeared/dried blood on the walls from where people had smashed insects. On the balcony a previous guest had left a cup full of some disgusting liquid plus cigarettes and no one bothered to clean that up. The room was incredibly hot despite it being the end of October and there is no air conditioning - I don't think it would be possible to stay there in the summer without suffering from heat stroke. There was also just a general lack of maintenance, such as some loose doorknobs that felt like there were about to fall off. A previous guest had also left a coat in the closet - at some point during the day while we were out, someone entered our room and took the coat. It made me feel very unsafe that we were not asked or even informed about someone needing to enter our room. Please don't stay at this hotel. You'll probably get some kind of disease from it.

Arrived at the hotel and went to Our room. The smell was awful. The carpet disgusting. Peeling paint and marks on the walls. There was no hot water for a shower,so we told them at reception . We were told they would send someone up to check it out. Nothing had been done so we changed rooms. The second room was just as bad but it did have hot water. Never again .

the worst hotel in belgrade! For Check in I had to wait 45 minutes, because there was only one person at the Reception. The payment of the booked stay is done in advance, which is the only way to secure some guests, otherwise I'm sure that the only guests of this hotel would be the pigeons, who turned the balconies into their toilets! When I finally got the room key, and opened the door... SURPRISE... there were 4 people in my room. Annoyed and scared at the same time, the lady who greeted me in my room and I went down to the Reception to clarify things.... another 15 minutes lost because the receptionist did not understood what was happening and why we are not satisfied with the room. After she finally understood the problem and I received a new key, I had another surprise... the room. A literally stinky room, a mixture of urine and cigarette smoke! Downright disgusting! The bathroom was ugly and full of mold on the tiling joints around the bathtub, The toilet was black inside. In the room, the air conditioner, placed on the floor, was not working and all around it was full of dirt, dust and spiderwebs. When I wanted to open the balcony, I was left with the door handle in my hand! Some children's sports shoes were forgotten in the closet, and one of the upper doors of the closet was almost fallen. The carpet I don't think was ever washed... the stains on it told the history of the hotel. I stayed in the room for about 2 hours until I managed to find another accommodation, after which I asked at the reception to return my money because ithat place cannot be called a hotel, and because it does not correspond to the pictures on the booking sites, but without success. For two weeks while I was in Belgrade, I called the Hotel to solve the problem, but every time they asked me to wait and they will call me later. Of course they didn't even call to tell me that they wouldn't refund my money. They simply ignored the complaint! This is the best proof that for them the customers are just some suckers who Felt into their net and after which they make money to survive this relic of what they call 'hotel'! This 'Hotel' shames Belgrade, and it's a shame that it is allowed to operate in these conditions! I would not recommend this hotel neither to an enemy!

Dirty, broken, smelly and terribly managed all at once. Rooms are smelly, bathrooms are ugly, doors are broken, staff are really unhelpful. Check in was only at 3pm, breakfast finishes as early as 10am. Only one receptionist. Avoid. Avoid

I booked a room with a queen bed for the 12th till 14 of July to stay with my son two nights. I arrived at 5am to the hotel after driving 23 hours and wanted to pay for early check in order to stay in the room since check in wasn’t until 3 pm but the Event Manager Viktorija was very unprofessional, impolite and rude. She did not want to give me early check in and I had to pay the room as if we had come the night before just because she wanted to rip off a loyal guest who has stayed at this property more than 30 times prior. I paid for day I was not present in hotel 11 of July and left hotel 13 of July. I ended up paying for two nights stay instead of one. I arrived 12 in the morning..The funny thing is she said to me that she is in a relationship with the owner/manager and he lets her make her own rules. The next day, I saw her yelling at another guest as I was passing by and the guest left. I was shocked. At this hotel you can expect to be mistreated and disrespected.

The view of the Danube River from my room was very nice (stay on the river side if you can). The rooms could definitely use an upgrade or restoration to the time when the hotel was built: peeling paint, uncomfortable beds. Stayed here due to the history of the hotel and it’s architecture. Very affordable. Breakfast is included and very good. Close to floating restaurants.
