Spent a few nights in March after reading the positive reviews. And to be fair, its a hit and miss. The cleaners took our towels without givning is new ones - twice and didn’t replace the toilettries. Quite So-and-So The breakfast was a joke. Covid isn’t an excuse to cut it down to a yogurt and one coffee. It really isn’t. Otherwise its clean, central and pretentious AF - like you would expect in Stockholm. Wouldn’t recommend until Covid is over.
I loved my experience at this hotel. The location is superb, right in the heart of Stockholm. I could walk everywhere. However the metro station is right next door. Excellent! The hotel has a supermarket, a leisure area where we can eat what we bought at the supermarket or socialize. It even has a restaurant too. A very modern concept and a fantastic and helpful team. Love it
Super chic design, very helpful staff, very comfy bedrooms! The breakfast is delish as well. I love this hotel. My only small gripe is that the toilet wall is frosted glass (at least for our room, not sure if it applies to all rooms), so it can be a bit embarrassing to see your roommate's silhouette in there. But all in all, love the stay!
You will arrive to a bustling deli and market. A few steps back you will find yourself in a hip common area used by hotel guests. Further downstairs you will find the guest rooms below street level. Don’t expect any windows here. But modern and bright decoration more than make up for any loss of view. The rooms are of reasonable size. Very modern European design and furnishings, yet comfortable. Bathroom with shower were also nice. A great option in Stockholm, which can be quite pricey.
I think the first thing you need to know about this hotel is that rooms are in the basement so there are no windows. Additionally, the rooms are very small, as soon as you open your door the bed is literally there a foot away! I would say the room is actually "compact". On your way to get to your room you pass through splashes of colour over the room and the carpets, very different to a traditional hotel. It's also not immediately obvious where to check-in and out, but you'll find it attached to the coffee bar! Absolutely no complaints about the cleanliness of the room and the hotel in general, but be warned nearly every room has a speaker outside adjacent to the door, pumping out music 24/7, and it was audible in my room. So if you are a light sleeper, be warned. The restaurant attached to the hotel was OK, food wasn't too bad, but I have had better. Why is this place called Hotel with Urban Deli? Well, the deli shop actually forms part of the hotel, so whilst having a meal in their restaurant you can watch shoppers go about their business. Weird. Overall, it's OK, just not my thing and I am used to a bit more space in my room - the rooms here are certainly small.…
