I nice hotel with vintage feeling. Nice breakfast and wonderful staff. Walking distance to the city center. The lounge area has comprtable sofas, perfekt spot for a glas of wine in good company, or alone with the same and a book ;)

Everything was OK due Corona time. The staff was very kind and they did things in a very good way to satisfied my needs. The only negative thing was that, I expect to have digital TV on a 4 star hotel - Not analog!

The hotel are basically very good and a very central placed in Stockholm. 5-10 minutes walking distance to everything in center of the town. Very silent and a bit of road from the main street. The breakfast is good and with many things to chose from. The restaurant are a bit expensive but there are plenty of other restaurants 5 minutes away from the hotel. The minus was the cleaning of the toilet that i found a bit bad and the cleaner was not filling up with shower gel and shampoo unless you ask them.

Overall our stay was okay. To start with the positives, the staff were all very friendly, the public area downstairs by reception was clean, modern and well-maintained and also breakfast was excellent. Despite this, the room was not up to the standard usually met in a 4 star hotel. The bed linen was stained and under the top sheet was a good amount of dirt. Also, the bathroom was not particularly clean, including a shower which had to be held in order to not soak the walls. Despite this, our stay was fine, but again, not a 4 star hotel, especially in the standard double room, very dated and not up to standard.

What ever you do, do not book this place and don't let the lobby fool you. My husband and I stayed at Hotel Hansson in November 2019. The guy in the reception during the day was super nice and helpful when we arrived, we checked in, payed and he took care of our bags. When we arrived just before 5 in the morning to go to bed, we had to wait very long outside the hotel before anyone opened. When we then came in, the night watchman was very determed that we should pay more for the room, even if we had the receipt and everything. But after a lot of discussions, the night watchman came to an end and said we didn't have to pay any more! When we reach the room, it is extremely worn with major flaws: the door is very damaged, one bedside lamp didn't work, the toilet seat sits so loose that you have to balance when sitting at the toilet. There is black mold in the shower, there are missing parts on the shower itself There were hair on the wall in the bathroom when we arrived The beds were not properly bedded, the bed sheet was just straight on the mattress, ie you had not even put the bed under the mattress. I called the night watchman when we got to the room around 5am and announced that the lamp is not working and that the toilet seat is very broken. Got a reply: we'll fix it tomorrow! In the morning, a maid just stepped into the room without knocking, it was only lucky that we were dressed then. We contacted the manager of the hotel but he had a very cheeky tone and did only reply to half of our questions, after a couple of email back and forth he only gave us 50% discount on the next stay. But why on earth would we ever go back to that disgusting hotel with the worst service ever.

The staff were pleasant enough but the 5th floor (directly under the roof) certainly shows signs of wear. Either it was too hot or too cold. House keeping left a lot to be desired, the bathroom was barely cleaned from one week's end to the next. Friday and Saturday night it was almost impossible to sleep for the noise of the drunks and cars roaring up and down the street!

Stayed for four nights in late August. Traditional, older hotel on a relatively quiet street off the main drag. Good metro and bus connections into the centre of town. Friendly, professional front-staff. Having an elevator is good. My room on the third floor looked out over an interior courtyard garden, and was very quiet. Room and bathroom very clean, comfortable bed. Excellent buffet breakfast. My only downside is that there is no air-conditioning, and during the recent heat-wave the room was quite hot in the day, even with a provided fan. Evenings cooled off quickly. Very enjoyable stay.

Our large extended family had a great stay at Hotel Hansson. The location is good; close to shops and fantastic restaurants (try the creperie across the street). It is a bit of a hike to the old town (20 mins) but a very short walk to the metro. The hotel itself had a wonderful old European feel. We had two rooms and each was unique. One with grand vaulted ceilings and big windows overlooking the street. The other room was more rustic with exposed wooden beams. Both had way more space than you would ever expect in Europe for the price. The breakfast was also excellent, with many fresh selections. But by far the best reason to stay at Hotel Hansson is the staff. All very friendly and helpful. Andreas in particular went out of his way to help us on several occasions, right from when we were booking the rooms, until a week after we checked out. He is from Stockholm, so he has a wealth of knowledge about the city. If you are staying at this hotel be sure to speak with him. I will stay here again when I am next in Stockholm. The location is really nice. Building is beatiful and the hotel is ok, but nit a four star hotel. We travelled with two kids (6,9 years) and had a family room. Room was nice but the condition of a hotel is quite poor. Thay have done some painting and stuff but hotel needs a big renevation. Expecially the bathroom was pretty ugly and dirty. Cleaning wasn’t done properly and the cleaning lady left our door open when she left. Luckily nothing was stolen. Breakfast was good and the staff was ok.
