This is a affordable hostel in a nice part of the city. Staff is not around often but you receive all the information you need beforehand. Great kitchen facilities. Grocery store, coffeehouse, Vasaparken next door. Walkable distance to city center.

The hostel is clean and tidy, and the bathroom attached to the dorm is by far the best I've seen in a hostel, and I've been in quite a few. However, the room had no windows and no wifi. All in all, it was average.

This was a relatively cheap option to stay in Stockholm for some days. All the facilities where there despite that the wifi could be improved. I shared a room with 7 other persons and it was often quite hard to sleep before late and wake up early in the morning (I was attending a Spring school). So maybe a really...

The hostel is OK. They are in a great location, but the reception don't work after 3pm and you cannot do any noise...at least it's clean. Good for couples that want a really quiet place to stay ...not for hanging time with friends

The place has been automated so that you don't require any staff whatsoever to enter the place or even go into your room and that is something quite cool. Internet reception is not the best and the room was small, although if you're just looking for a place where to pass the night in Stockholm this could be your place.

I arrived past mid night but with the access code given before, it was really easy to get in and find my room. I would definitely recommend this place for people visiting Stockholm! The hostel area is 20 minutes walking from the central train station, bus station, main central market area etc. The only thing I did not like was...

SUPER crowded rooms, even for a hostel (barely enough space to walk between the beds); no locker storage options so anyone in your room can rifle through your stuff (I had my $700 camera stolen the first night I stayed); staff seem uninterested and not helpful (after I told them about the theft they told me they would check the...

I have stayer here for 2 days. Everything is good here, a great and big kitchen with all the tool you can get here, free coffee machine, bathroom is big. Only that the wifi is not worked in the room. I lived in the 6bed room, it is a little bit crowed.

I received my email from the hostel with the codes and information I needed for my stay. I arrived around 23:00 from the train station. When I got to my room, there was an older man sleeping in my bed. When I woke him up to tell him this, he said the bed above (occupied by another woman) was his....

Hostel has great location, eta. 10 min. walking from the old town. They have a very good service; stuff is kind and helpful. The place is very clean and tidy, kitchen fully equipped, free coffee and tea. Quality to price ratio very high :)

Staying in Vasastan

Neighborhood Profile
Vasastan
Vasastan is one of those neighborhoods that almost looks too good to be true. It has the winning combination of a central location, tranquility, and beautiful buildings – housing sophisticated bars and eateries – that makes this neighborhood Stockholm’s most sought-after place to live. If walking through this area makes you feel like walking through a fairy tale or picture book it’s no surprise, as it’s actually the film set of the famous Swedish children story Karlsson-on-the-Roof. No matter what season, Vasastan manages to impress in the sunshine, covered in snow and won’t even lose its charm when soaked in rain.
