The room we got was really small, and in the basement with no windows. We became almost claustrophobic to have to stay here because the weather was warm in August and there were no windows to open in the room, nor in the common areas...More
I stayed in Hostel bed and breakfast because my friend had his young son and thought a hostel would be a good experience for one night. However it was a nightmare and I had a very bad sleep for the reasons: 1- it was in...More
Stayed here for one night in a single room and I cannot recommend the place.
The hostel is located in the basement and has been up to date 25 years ago. Stone floor and small hallways make for a unwelcome feeling.

The rooms were fine. The bunk beds were noisy but still a good size and comfortable enough. It was nice to have breakfast included even though it was only slices of bread and buttermilk. They offer free coffee and tea which is nice.

Vasastan is one of those neighborhoods that almost looks too good to be true. It has the winning combination of a central location, tranquility, and beautiful buildings – housing sophisticated bars and eateries – that makes this neighborhood Stockholm’s most sought-after place to live. If walking through this area makes you feel like walking through a fairy tale or picture book it’s no surprise, as it’s
actually the film set of the famous Swedish children story Karlsson-on-the-Roof. No matter what season, Vasastan manages to impress in the sunshine, covered in snow and won’t even lose its charm when soaked in rain.
