Speedy check in, friendly staff and a room with everything I needed for my short stay. View over the highway in to Stockholm city. I had picked the smallest room and if you are two persons you will have to climb over the other one to get in or out of bed. Location great near subway and buses. A smaller shopping mall is just across and you can walk along the waterfront only a short walk from the hotel. The hotel is huge and it is very crowded and vibrant in the eating and bar area. Enjoyed my stay.
Amazing place for a staycation. Cool staff who would take care of your special requests. TVs are a bit old though. Hope they upgrade that. Great views to Erikdaslbadet. Great breakfast in the morning, and super close to the train stations.
Excellent hotel. Very central to getting into the heart of Stockholm within a few minutes- the metro station is right next to the hotel and it’s 3 stops to the old town. Staff were really helpful throughout the stay- shout-out to the very lovely and enthusiastic lady on breakfast duty who welcomed everyone to breakfast. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I’ve had at a hotel. Would recommend staying here.
A very well-located hotel with a warm and welcoming feeling. The staff on sight had big smiles on their faces every time we met them. The check in was smooth and fast, having a few check in desks definitely helps (plus the self check in function). Were not spending too much time at the hotel but we had a great view over Globen. The breakfast was fantastic and the warm smiles we got from the breakfast hostess before even entering the dining hall was amazing! Will definitely come back to this hotel the next time I’m in Stockholm.
Me and my wife had a lovely stay at this hotel with very friendly and helpful staff at the frontdesk. The room has a very good standard with really nice and comfortable beds. The breakfast was probably the best one we ever had at a swedish hotel. Its a pleasure for me and my wife to rekommend Clarion Hotel Stockholm to anyone whp plane to visit our beautiful capital. Stayed here for three nights with a friend and was very good. The breakfast is exceptional with a lot of choice and options for everyone, the rooms are good if your don't look too closely. Would have been nice to be able to open a window for a bit of fresh air and the bed was way too soft for us, but all in all a good choice
No hot water for 3 days. Was moved to three different rooms, one of which a guest was staying in, which was awkward and provided and unsafe environment. The staff was friendly and the cleaning crew was nice but it was unacceptable to not have any hot water in the shower for 3 days. They should’ve compensated me for the inconvenience.
The pictures of the room looked better then reality. Service and breakfast stood out. But the room itself didn’t feel clean: dirty carpet, dirty furniture, outdated. We like fresh air but the windows couldn’t open: because of covid this worries me more then usual. Also because it was so warm I couldn’t sleep. We booked a normal room: but this doesn’t mean that the quality should be below average. On a positive note: close to the metro station is great to explore Stockholm.
Arrived hotel at 1 pm and the stuffs said the system went down. A friendly receptionist tried to help but it’s not possible so they asked me to come back at 3 pm because the check in time is 3 pm. Big mistake of the stuffs as they stop everyone who came early to wait until 3 along with many others who came at 3 and after 3. So it’s line was very long. People travelled many miles and hours to reach Stockholm and had to wait another hours to check in. I got my room after I was so upset and need to take shower as I had an appointment at 5 pm. Got my room at 4:30, They wanted us to scan QR code to book breakfast. The system allowed us to choose what time we wanted to. I chosed 11:30 because I went out and came back very late at night so I wanted to have late breakfast. I came to restaurant at 11:25 and they stuffs had already clean up and said the breakfast station is closed at 11:30 so why let us choose at 11:30? I was not only one. There was another customer who got the same experience about the breakfast time. The room is small, fine I would just sleep and I was alone so does not matter. But it would be too small for 2 people. The wall is very tin so I could here the next door or not sure if it was the people above me doing their “business” , so annoyed when I tired to sleep but thanks god they didn’t take so long do finish their business. I would return to Scandic hotels in the future as it has always been smooth and better/bigger room…
I know that it was IT problem that made us customers waiting in the lobby for the last hours. You can’t even tell us when we can check in. No one knows how you will check in all of us at 15:00. It’s so many people who are waiting right now. When someone asked you only reply you don’t know
