We stayed a couple of nights in this pension in January. The room was nicely sized and very clean. Staff was very nice and the breakfast quite good. It was really quite even though we spent the weekend there. Also the room was warm in the winter. The bathroom was shared with only one other room, so there was no...

I stayed here with my boyfriend for a weekend earlier this year. The room was charming and the staff friendly. However, we tried to contact the general manager before checkin regarding the payment of this stay without any result..

This nice little b&b is located on the 2nd floor of a residential building and only offers nine rooms in two converted flats. The rooms are nicely furnitured & in keeping with the antique charme of this magnificent building. A continental breakfast buffet is served from 7am on with a choice of cheese, sausages, eggs, yogurt, cereals and fresh fruit...

(+) It was very kind to change our double room to a twin one for no additional cost. We arrived late in the evening but received clear instructions how to get to the pension. The building does not look old from outside but has a wide circular staircase and lift with a cage like in old movies! The furniture is...

Easy to access - two metro stops North from citycenter - still well in the city. Entering is to a normal living house and the place is on second floor - house with a lift. Reception is in the kitchen and staff is very polite. Bathroom is shared with the room next to you - if you book two rooms...

We stayed in this accommodation for two nights. The staff was very polite and helpful, breakfast was something to look forward to - fresh crispy bread, excellent coffee and a wide variety of choices. The hotel is beautifully furnished and the room lacked nothing to our comfort.

Arrived and instantly happy with the location. Plenty of cafes, restaurants and shops around and the area seemed very clean. Only a few minutes walk from the metro and about 6 minutes ride from central. First thing you see is the beautiful old lift and spiral staircase. I love it. Not the most practical but has character. Next we met...

This is good hotel. It has beautiful placement in fifteen minutes from center of the city. I would also like to acknowledge the excellent attitude of the staff. We lived in the only room that has it,'s private bathroom. It was well.

The room was cozy with tall windows and clean bed. Shared bathroom wasn't a problem because there was two to use and they were tidy. Good breakfeast too. Considered the price, this place was great value.

Staying in Vasastan

Neighborhood Profile
Vasastan
Vasastan is one of those neighborhoods that almost looks too good to be true. It has the winning combination of a central location, tranquility, and beautiful buildings – housing sophisticated bars and eateries – that makes this neighborhood Stockholm’s most sought-after place to live. If walking through this area makes you feel like walking through a fairy tale or picture book it’s no surprise, as it’s actually the film set of the famous Swedish children story Karlsson-on-the-Roof. No matter what season, Vasastan manages to impress in the sunshine, covered in snow and won’t even lose its charm when soaked in rain.
