This lovely budget choice hotel offers a great experience and an opportunity to stay in a very expensive city for not that much.

We stayed in a superior room with sea views and I really wasn’t expecting the large space that we had. Amazing room!
Although on a boat, there was a proper toilet and a shower (which was a bit cold) and very good heating so, despite the snow, we were very warm and comfortable.

The beds are narrow but comfortable enough.

Breakfast was 95 sek (around £7:50) and it was basic, consisting of cold meats, cheese, salad and breads, but very tasty and filling.

There is a communal kitchen which is clean and well equipped.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Recommended.

Rooms (cabins) are small and not super clean and new, but it's enough for short/weekend stay. Atmosphere fine and interesting, rather cheap and very good location.
Just be careful how you book the cabin. I think you should use booking.com, where you will know exactly what type of cabin you will have. Don't use booked.net You can choose there two different cabins (standard and comfort) in different prices. At the end, even if you paid for Comfort you get Standard and company says it's normal... I asked what i would get if i paid for Standard and they said that same:d Because 'we inform on website that it's same facilities, you could just pay for standard'. So they want to proof having two options in different prices while at the end you get same cabin standard is normal and fair. Joke.
Summing up: place fine enough to stay, and i would recommend, but be careful how you book.

Excellent location and service and you get to stay on a boat with good views of the city. Breakfast was excellent value for money with extensive choice and a great view. Dinner also available and had the excellent meatballs. For a central Stockholm location you can not beat it for value for money

I came here to stay for two nights with my friend. When we went to our room, some worker was cleaning the boat with water tube from the outside. Our window was closed, but it leaked little bit from corner. We went to town, and after we got back, we noticed that because of cleaning, the window had leaked more and bed was wet.
We change room and next room was okay. There was only one plug (in our first room had two plugs).
The boat was swinging little bit, but enough to make me feel dizzy.

We thought it would be fun to stay in a ship and chose this place as our base in Stockholm. We couldn't have been more wrong!

The communal showers/toilets are absolutely filthy and disgusting. It seems that they haven't been cleaned since the ship was commissioned. Swedish health authorities absoluely need to inspect this place ASAP.

The staff do not care at all and they don't seem to be hospitable unlike most Swedish people we encountered. The furniture is breaking, the carpet floor is hideous.

The only positive thing I can say is that the price is ok for Stockholm standarts and it's 10-15 minutes walking distance to Gamla Stan. Other than that, this place should be burned for decontamination.

Stay away from here!

Great place to stay centrally in Stockholm. We Walker everywhere and did not take public transportation at all.
Fantastic views from the room.
We chose a superior room with private bathroom and everything lived up to our expectations.
You just have to remember that this is a budget hotel and hostel. Very cheap for a central location in Stockholm.

We visited in January, but the room was nice and warm. Bathroom was not heated, but they had placed an electric heater that we turned on while using the bathroom and that was just fine for us.

The staff was lovely and allowed us to check in several hours early. We had only asked if we could leave our bag, but they had the room available.
Probably possible due to low occupancy in January.

I loved the unique stay and would definitely recommended.
Would like to visit again in the spring or summertime.

Stayed in a 6 square meters room with toilet. It was clean. A little problem in the shower/toilet room, the exhaust fan is not working so its always humid after we shower or visited the toilet.
10 minutes walk to the metro station. Can get too loud because it’s located by the high way.

As if the novelty of staying on a floating hostel wasn't enough, this one is bang in the centre of Stockholm, walking distance from beautiful Gamla Stan and close to a metro station for easy access to the whole city. The staff were friendly an helpful, the rooms clean and cosy and we were able to leave luggage in the locker provided. Can't fault it! (The Hostel boat also has a huge kitchen, clean showers and the option of breakfast/dinner on the big boat). Highly recommend!

What a lovely, quirky, and unique place to stay. Located across the river from the Old Town, it offers a stunning view of Stockholm. I had a large, clean, double room with shared bathrooms onboard boat number 3. This hotel and hostel consists of three boats next to each other. Bathrooms were plentiful, clean, and I never encountered any waiting time when I needed to use them. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Although I walked to and from the train station, I believe there is local transport nearby. I am already looking forward to returning. Keep up the good work 👏

Nice hotel, had all I needed - nice view, bar, restaurant, good service.
Ordered a private room with own bath and a fantastic view, it was even better than the photos and very clean too.
Ofc it is a hostel and and older boat so a little noise from toilets and staircases should be expected.
I have absolutely no complaints, it was amazing and fun!

We found the whole of Stockholm weird when it comes to credit card payments, they love them, they look at you kinda strange when you pay cash anywhere including the hotel, But that said, they do accept cash everywhere including in reception at the hotel. Even most of the Taxis accept Credit Card payments and all the smallest of shops even the Christmas Market Stalls when we were there in early December.

Bad move, some Hotels might consider a bad review on a site like this as "damage done", while it is good to be honest sometimes waiting till your stay has finished is a better tactic, of course some hotels will hope to sort the problem out and get an edit to the existing review but also know they will have the bad review doing the rounds for at least a month before you can add a second, personally I always ask for a business card at places I visit telling them it is so that I can leave a trip advisor review, it is surprising how some places can go that extra step to make sure the review will be a good one :)

We had booked the suite, which had a private bathroom. I believe most of the other rooms had shared bathrooms in the hall, but there may have been some smaller rooms with a private bath.
