As if the novelty of staying on a floating hostel wasn't enough, this one is bang in the centre of Stockholm, walking distance from beautiful Gamla Stan and close to a metro station for easy access to the whole city. The staff were friendly an helpful, the rooms clean and cosy and we were able to leave luggage in the locker provided. Can't fault it! (The Hostel boat also has a huge kitchen, clean showers and the option of breakfast/dinner on the big boat). Highly recommend!

Its well located and basiclaly the cheapest place i coudl find to stay. The rooms size was fine, the shared toilet is small and the showers are not really amazing, its basiclaly a hostel. The bar is good though, i recommend the meatballs and its a nice social area there. Be warned, you do get the feeling of going up and down in your room as it is a boat!

Excellent location and service and you get to stay on a boat with good views of the city. Breakfast was excellent value for money with extensive choice and a great view. Dinner also available and had the excellent meatballs. For a central Stockholm location you can not beat it for value for money

This lovely budget choice hotel offers a great experience and an opportunity to stay in a very expensive city for not that much. We stayed in a superior room with sea views and I really wasn’t expecting the large space that we had. Amazing room! Although on a boat, there was a proper toilet and a shower (which was a bit cold) and very good heating so, despite the snow, we were very warm and comfortable. The beds are narrow but comfortable enough. Breakfast was 95 sek (around £7:50) and it was basic, consisting of cold meats, cheese, salad and breads, but very tasty and filling. There is a communal kitchen which is clean and well equipped. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Recommended.

I came here to stay for two nights with my friend. When we went to our room, some worker was cleaning the boat with water tube from the outside. Our window was closed, but it leaked little bit from corner. We went to town, and after we got back, we noticed that because of cleaning, the window had leaked more and bed was wet. We change room and next room was okay. There was only one plug (in our first room had two plugs). The boat was swinging little bit, but enough to make me feel dizzy.

We thought it would be fun to stay in a ship and chose this place as our base in Stockholm. We couldn't have been more wrong! The communal showers/toilets are absolutely filthy and disgusting. It seems that they haven't been cleaned since the ship was commissioned. Swedish health authorities absoluely need to inspect this place ASAP. The staff do not care at all and they don't seem to be hospitable unlike most Swedish people we encountered. The furniture is breaking, the carpet floor is hideous. The only positive thing I can say is that the price is ok for Stockholm standarts and it's 10-15 minutes walking distance to Gamla Stan. Other than that, this place should be burned for decontamination. Stay away from here!

Stayed in a 6 square meters room with toilet. It was clean. A little problem in the shower/toilet room, the exhaust fan is not working so its always humid after we shower or visited the toilet. 10 minutes walk to the metro station. Can get too loud because it’s located by the high way.

Great place to stay centrally in Stockholm. We Walker everywhere and did not take public transportation at all. Fantastic views from the room. We chose a superior room with private bathroom and everything lived up to our expectations. You just have to remember that this is a budget hotel and hostel. Very cheap for a central location in Stockholm. We visited in January, but the room was nice and warm. Bathroom was not heated, but they had placed an electric heater that we turned on while using the bathroom and that was just fine for us. The staff was lovely and allowed us to check in several hours early. We had only asked if we could leave our bag, but they had the room available. Probably possible due to low occupancy in January. I loved the unique stay and would definitely recommended. Would like to visit again in the spring or summertime.

Rooms (cabins) are small and not super clean and new, but it's enough for short/weekend stay. Atmosphere fine and interesting, rather cheap and very good location. Just be careful how you book the cabin. I think you should use booking.com, where you will know exactly what type of cabin you will have. Don't use booked.net You can choose there two different cabins (standard and comfort) in different prices. At the end, even if you paid for Comfort you get Standard and company says it's normal... I asked what i would get if i paid for Standard and they said that same:d Because 'we inform on website that it's same facilities, you could just pay for standard'. So they want to proof having two options in different prices while at the end you get same cabin standard is normal and fair. Joke. Summing up: place fine enough to stay, and i would recommend, but be careful how you book.

I spent two nights with two friends in this hotel. I liked the idea of staying on a boat. Perfectly anchored, you don’t feel any rolling on board. To check in we went to a next door boat where the very kind staff gave us the cabin key and the codes to gain entrance at the gate that takes you inside this sort of garden before the boat where was our cabin. In the summer must be fantastic especially for the adjacency to the sea and the view of the town. So we entered the boat and through a short stair we reached our cabin. As expected, not so large, but very clean, and immaculate bed linens. The large windows gave a lovely view of the sea. Our private bathroom had everything needed, hairdryer and clean towels, but no soaps. Thick curtains perfectly shadowed the room for the night sleep which was so peaceful and quiet. Just a second across our boat, we could reach another boat for the shared kitchen. A wide space, lovely, intimate, Scandinavian style , fully equipped to prepare meals. We didn’t cook, but spent there relaxing time for a cup of tea. There are four big fridges, where you can also find fresh food left by other travellers ( with written notes saying: please help yourself !) This hotel is quite near many points of interest. Although be prepared to walk a lot, as the city is so pleasant to visit on foot. I liked this place so much: it’s very good quality price, the view, the position, the boat atmosphere, the international young clientele. The breakfast! Although not included in the price, is well worth the 9€, having lots of lovely food, sweet and savoury, excellent coffe and tea. Really recommended for short stays. Very intimate for couples. Convenient for good friends. Ideal for true travellers.
