Welcome to NOFO Hotel - Södermalm's new hotel destination for everyone who wants to experience Stockholm's most vibrant district. NOFO is a unique boutique and design hotel housed in a listed building from 1780. After an extensive renovation, we now proudly welcome both international guests and locals to the familial and personal atmosphere that is NOFO Hotel. We have preserved the building's historic character, spiced with contemporary elements from the world's metropolises. The inspiration comes from exciting areas and cities around the world. Soho and Carnaby Street in London, Queens, Bronx, Brooklyn and Upper East Side in New York, Trastevere in Rome and Montmartre in Paris, Copenhagen and our own Södermalm. The area in Södermalm, where NOFO Hotel is located, is called "SoFo", Stockholm's answer to London and New York's trendy SoHo. In the midst of this vibrant neighborhood you will find our oasis. Enter through a portal into a cobblestone and lush courtyard and you’ll arrive to NOFO Hotel. Here you will also find our outstanding restaurant and wine bar, NOFO Wine bar. Welcome to NOFO Hotel. The home of Söder.

I stayed at NOFO hotel with my husband and our small dog during a weekend in March 2021 and we are all stunned how cozy it was! The hotel and its Wine Bar is really a hidden gem in Stockholm (Södermalm area). I Can just imagine how nice it is to sit and sip on a chilled champagne in the courtyard during the summer months! We will absolutely come back!

The hotel experience at NOFO was exceptional. Staff was very attentive and friendly. The building itself feels cosy and is well restored. Rooms likewise (bed very comfortable). The continental breakfast was well presented and one could tell the kitchen puts effort into it. Needless to say that Södermalm is a great neighborhood to stay in Stockholm. We will surely come back.

As a retiree, I planned a trip of a lifetime for July, August & September 2020. I booked most of my hotels via Qantas Hotels, with some of them being Non-refundable. As the World closed down international travel, I contacted Qantas Hotels to see where I stood with all of my Hotel Bookings Some of which were also Non-refundable). In all cases (except the NOFO Hotel), my bookings were cancelled and the full payments refunded. I understand that Qantas Hotels contacted the NOFO Hotel twice, and refused to refund twice. I also emailed the NOFO Hotel myself, and also received a reply from them that they won't refund me. I will make my first visit to Sweden in the future (when COVID-19 restrictions permit), but rest assured I won't be staying at the NOFO Hotel. Unlike many other Hotels around the World that I was planning to stay at, the NOFO Hotel has absolutely no compassion. Be very aware. I also read with interest another review of someone who was thrown out of the Hotel at 10pm at night due to their full name not being on the registration form. How odd, but more importantly it shows that the management is focused solely on it's budget rather than its customers needs and well being.

This is the most anti-customer and unbelievably rude hotel experience I have ever had in any hotel in the world. Just awful. I was staying with a friend who booked the room as '2 guests' and the night manager came round at 10pm and kicked me out of the hotel (with security) under threat of calling the police - all because my full name wasn't stated as a guest on the room! Despite the booking being for 2 people! On this technically they decided I had to leave the hotel with no where else to stay that night!!!! Absolutely shocking and unbelievable...never ever stay here. I've never experienced anything like this before in my life. Avoid this place at all costs.

This is a really charming hotel in a fantastic location -- at the heart of Stockholm's most vibrant neighborhood and just a few blocks from a major metro station. Tons and tons of cafes, bars, shops, grocery stores, and restaurants surrounding the hotel. The building is historic and feels a bit more like an apartment block than a hotel -- you enter via a courtyard where there's also a popular wine bar. I stayed for a week and booked a single room, but was pleasantly surprised to receive a full bed, perhaps because of reduced travel. The room was spotless, had a very comfortable bed, and a great bathroom with good water pressure and hot water. WiFi and TV both worked great. At a time when hotels in many countries refuse to serve breakfast or give you a plastic-wrapped apple, the free breakfast at this hotel was truly incredible! Massive selection of hot and cold items, coffee, tea, smoothies, breads from a local bakery. The breakfast adds incredible value to one's stay. I hope to return to Stockholm and stay at this hotel again.
