This is a standard tourist hotel in a quiet but fairly central location. Stay here for the breakfast, an excellent selection and open until 11am on weekends. My room was on the smaller size but clean and quiet. A bonus - I could open the window and let some fresh Nordic air into my room.

The hotel is located near the city centre. It takes about 20 mins on foot to get to Gamla stan and its very close to restaurants and metro. The hotel is very big with around 60 rooms per floor it doesn't have a cozy feeling but rather corporate. The food however was very good, the breakfast buffet was very complete... More

We really enjoyed our stay, the room had a very nice quiet setting and was very comfortable. Also the lobby and breakfast area has a nice decoration and welcoming ambience. Location is good, at walking distance to many central attractions.

The hotel is well located close to the Metro and there are also buses to take you to Stockholm central and Gamla Stan very close and they are frequent. The hotel is a typical corporate hotel with a nice bar area where there is an eating area to the side but in reality most people eat out. The bar is... More

The hotel is located near the city centre. It takes about 20 mins on foot to get to Gamla stan and a minute to Odeplan. The rooms in the hotel are fine and the breakfast is good. The hotel is fairly clean and tidy. The staff are rather friendly and nice.

Nice and well located hotel close to the Sture Plan (bar area) and a short walk from Rådmansgatan underground station (not far from Gamla Stan old town and other sights). The breakfast was a buffet style with a nice variety of food although the double room was very small (smaller than it looked in the pictures). However it was clean... More

Professional and friendly staff. Quick check-in and easy to find your way around the hotel. The room is sufficient in size, clean and comfy. The breakfast (7-10am) is really good. A lot of choice and everything looks fresh. Typical kötbullar are served together with typical Swedish breakfast items.

Situated in a converted building, the main floor, dining room, bar, and conference facilities are very interesting. Because of the building's construction, the rooms are oddly shaped and unique -- but well appointed and comfortable. We walked all over the city and found the location to be most accommodating.

Staying in Vasastan

Neighborhood Profile
Vasastan
Vasastan is one of those neighborhoods that almost looks too good to be true. It has the winning combination of a central location, tranquility, and beautiful buildings – housing sophisticated bars and eateries – that makes this neighborhood Stockholm’s most sought-after place to live. If walking through this area makes you feel like walking through a fairy tale or picture book it’s no surprise, as it’s actually the film set of the famous Swedish children story Karlsson-on-the-Roof. No matter what season, Vasastan manages to impress in the sunshine, covered in snow and won’t even lose its charm when soaked in rain.
