Vasastan is one of those neighborhoods that almost looks too good to be true. It has the winning combination of a central location, tranquility, and beautiful buildings – housing sophisticated bars and eateries – that makes this neighborhood Stockholm’s most sought-after place to live. If walking through this area makes you feel like walking through a fairy tale or picture book it’s no surprise, as it’s actually the film set of the famous Swedish children story Karlsson-on-the-Roof. No matter what season, Vasastan manages to impress in the sunshine, covered in snow and won’t even lose its charm when soaked in rain.

My son Stefano booked a room for 4 nights in this hotel, from August 19th to August 23rd, but his flight (EasyJet) has been cancelled because of the crisis created after this COVID situation. He has called the hotel (no way to get an answer by email) and they refused to reimburse him (because of, they said, their internal policy) and offered a voucher to be spent WITHIN YEAR 2020! The voucher is in their right, but putting END OF 2020 as condition sounds not practicable and tricky, during a pandemic situation still present in several countries. It is a bit unfair and incorrect, from my point of view. Just as reference, the same issue occured for the second part of his trip, in Denmark, but, after the flight cancellation and despite the similar original cancellation policies in that hotel, he got the full reimbursement. A different apprach versus the customers.

Hello Geatano P, Thank you for your feedback! It's hard for me to comment on this since I don't know the exact details of your sons reservation. But it sounds like he had booked a special rate where the cancellation rules states that you can not cancel to a refund or modify the reservation. In this case I understand it he was offered to change the dates on his reservation, despite the terms & condition of his reservation stating otherwise. Wish you a great weekend! Kind regards, Angelica Shift leader

Really impressed with the hotel. 10 minute walk from the city centre, great service, friendly, eloquent staff... Room was clean and tidy, all in all a very pleasant stay. The breakfast was good, certainly no complaints volume wise. I don't think it is always as sunny as it was, at times the weather was almost middle Eastern, good for seeing this fantastic city in the best light.

I made a reservation at this hotel for two nights this week. Unfortunately due to the global crisis at hand LH canceled their flight to Stockholm and at same time the company I was to visit in Solna put into effect a no visitor policy at their headquarters. LH gladly returned my entire flight cost. I called the hotel to cancel my reservation and they told me they were not going to return my two nights nor were they going to extend the reservation until the global health crisis would clear. I find this absolutely not acceptable and downright unhelpful. Especially, for a private hotel who have their own internal discretionary policies. Shame on the owner/s of this establishment. Maybe it should never happen to you!

Good location (we reached all spots by feet, but if you're not a big fan of walking -there is a metro station in 5 mins), comfortable rooms, soft beds and nice breakfast (especially croissants and cookies). Will stay in this hotel next time. A little advice: book the superior room if you need more space.

Stayed here for couple nights . Good location close to pub anchor the famous rock bar . Close to city center and train station is 10 min walk away . The reception and bar is nice and stylish . Staff very friendly and gave us early check in . Breakfast very good but many many guests . The lifts are outdated abit . The room is nice but small and the design of the bathroom is very 90ths . The room felt cold . And i wish they gave more body soap and shampoo . The gym is small but has all you need to work out ! The prices are steep but good for stockholm .
