We visited the Nordic Sea over a year ago and I am just now getting around to reviewing. Hotel has a nice lobby, nice rooms, and is very clean. The service at the front desk was better than expected. The location was nice- very close to the metro and was not overly crowed as some of the other hotels, etc....

Stayed here for 3 nights in March 2008. As mentioned by others, location is right when you get off the terminal of the airport express train. It is very convenient, especially if you are catching an early morning flight out. I had a room located on the top floor and it was okay - nothing to rave about. The furniture...

I stayed at the Nordic Sea Hotel last July, and I booked one of the single occupancy Express rooms that don't have a window. I'm a very light-sensitive sleeper; I wake up when the sun rises, and sunrise at that time of year was around 3:40am. So a windowless room was the key to a good night's sleep. The complimentary...

Dear Eric, Thank you for your positive feedback. I am thrilled to hear that you liked our Express rooms. What you describe is exactly why we have those room types, dark and silent yet fully equipped as you would expect from a “standard” room for a lower than standard price. I look forward to welcoming you back to Nordic Sea...

We stayed at the Nordic Sea for 2 nights at the end of December. Firstly the location is great as it is directly opposite the exit from the Arlanda express, great when you've just got off the plane and you don't want another journey to find your hotel. You can buy tickets for the Arlanda express from reception where there...

Was here on business, so the company I was visiting booked me in to this hotel. It was OK. The first room I had was pretty big, the second one was tiny. It's minimalist and with windows right out to the street where the train station was. Overall, the Sheraton, which I stayed at earlier in the week, was much...

We stayed at this hotel for four days. The room was nice, although slightly small. Our first evening we had dinner at the bar, which was quite good. The bartender was helpful and kind. The fish tank that is in the middle is quite beautiful and adds to the ambiance. The average room rate for us was about 170euros /...

The Nordic Sea Hotel is a fairly uninspiring city-centre block well located for the railway station, shopping streets and not too far from the tourist sights. After seeing earlier reviews, I asked for a room with a window (a view over a dull flat roof!) - GBP190pn. It was a fair size and came with all expected requisites such as...

We just returned from Stockholm and spent 3 nights at the Nordic Sea. The staff was very nice and helpful, even though they were very busy at times. The breakfast buffet was nice, however it was hard to find a seat at times. The beds were not real comfortable and be aware that the couch is not a "pull out"...

I was originally planning to stay at the Hotel Rival (which is currently rated #1 on tripadvisor and highly recommended by many sources, etc.), but after careful consideration of my particular travel plans, I switched to the Nordic Sea. Stayed at the Nordic Sea Hotel for 2 nights end August 2007. Spotless. Pleasant staff. Very reasonable rate considering Stockholm would be considered expensive and this is a four star hotel. Had a twin room. Not the biggest but was expecting this from reading previous reviews. Very comfortable beds. Tea and coffee facilities in the room which is great &...
