Unfortunately i found the service of this hostel is very negative, especially their people. I can't believe this is how they treat their future customers. We even haven't stayed any night and just had some questions that we hope we could get some response. They were very passive to answer our emails and reluctant to offer help. What annoyed us...

Dear Tizzy, It makes me so sad to read about your stay. We are very proud of our product and service is off course the most important thing that we can offer. I would be grateful if you would contact me at sofie.jorsell@stfturist.se as I would like to know more and take action so that this will not happen again....

Although Af Chapman is a hostel they have two cabins that serves as double hotel rooms with en suite bathrooms. My friend and I stayed in one of them, the Navigation Cabin in the former chart room on the upper deck of the ship. The view was magnificent and the location fantastic. I highly recommend it to anyone fit enough...

We had prepaid for 2 nights, but our Seattle-Stockholm flight returned to Seattle after 2 hours due to technical reasons. We could leave Seattle only the after 2 days and had to skip Stockholm altogether. We gave this information (and documentation) to the hostel immediately after our flight came back to Seattle and requested a refund, but they refused. They...

This was an amazing find. It is a preserved 19th Century sailing ship which has been turned into a youth hostel. The ship was renovated in 2008, so is still nice. It is fantastically clean too. It makes a visit to Stockholm atmospheric and is 10 minutes walk to the Palace and Gamala Stan area. We had a 4-berth cabinon...

Stayed here with friends on a schooltrip. The boat is closed during the cold months of the year so we got a small dorm in the main building. The dorm was light and spacious enough for the three of us. The shared toilets and showers were clean. We had a sink and a mirror in our dorm which was a...

We were lucky to still have gotten two beds in a room on the ship. The rooms are clean, plenty of large bathrooms and super friendly staff! The ship has a bar and two decks you can sit on. The view from there must be the most magnificent in all of Stockholm. Being able to sit on the the deck...

We stayed one night. We had a bunkbed cabin with sink and shared bathroom & shower. All facilities were clean. They provide towel and bedding when you check in. It is located only 20 min walk from Gamla Stan. Or only 3 min walk from the boat that stops at Djurgården or Slussen.

My husband and I stayed here for 6 nights. It is centrally located, and staying on a boat with a great view is nice! We appreicated the large room and the tub in the private bathroom. We didn't love that everyone used the deck above our cabin to smoke, even though it's listed as a non-smoking vessel (It is a...

This is a hostel. Not a hotel. Its important to remember this so you manage your expectations. The rooms are basic but nice and the bathrooms are clean. It is damn cool staying on a boat in the middle of Stockholm and when the weather is good there is no better place to chill out than on the upper deck....
