Welcome to Berns Hotel, located in the middle of Stockholm’s city pulse but embedded in the serene Berzelii Park. Surrounded by the city’s best shopping streets, top restaurants and vibrant nightlife. This is not only a place to sleep, this is The House of Entertainment where long lunches and brunches turn into afternoon cocktails with dinner and top it off with a dance marathon in our nightclubs. If that is not your cup of tea, enjoy a long lunch at our neighbor Calle P, catch up on some emails and then head into Berns Asiatiska for an incredible dinner under the crystal chandeliers. Finish your evening in our bar with a cocktail, head back to your room for a good night sleep in our lavish bed sheets. There’s simply no place like Berns.

Having found the little tricky way how to get to the hotel entrance by car we were welcomed by the friendly reception staff who right away provided us with a parking ticket for the close-by NK parking garage at a fair price for Stockholm terms (< ~40€/night).
The Berns Hotel calls itself ”House of Entertainment” as they have an event location and night club downstairs. However, you will not notice if you do not want to.
The rooms are spacious when booking the ”Spacious Superior” for 2 persons. Despite its history the building and rooms are newly renovated. The signature dining hall with its iconic chandeliers is very well maintained. The breakfast buffet included smoked salmon, avocado, liver pastete, freshly made smoothies, the famous Swedish kanelbullar, crispy bread, caviar creme and a cappuccino from a proper portafilter machine. It was one of the best hotel breakfasts we have had in Stockholm. This is also validated by Stockholm locals who come and book a weekend brunch there (~35€). From lunch time till dinner the hall transforms to the restaurant Asiatiska which serves high-level pan-asian food and excellent cocktails, including a considerable sake selection.
The location of the hotel at Berzelii park is ideal to explore the city by foot. Almost every part of the city is within 30 minutes walking distance. You can see one of the beautiful Stockholm bays right when you step out of the hotel and walk through the park.
For any request and question we had we found the extremely friendly reception staff at our disposal.
Having stayed a few times in Stockholm already we will choose Berns for our next trip again.

Great hotel with lovely location. You can hardly find a better location than this when you are in Stockholm!
Nice rooms, nice staff and ok breakfast in a fantastic location.
Everything with this hotel is good. The only thing we experienced as something less good was cleaning where there was a dirty glass in the room at check-in, as well as that we several times experienced getting too few towels in the room after washing. However, there was a big plus for that there was the possibility of washing 2 times per day in the most expensive room, as well as that we here were allowed to insert free water and sugar beans in the room every night.
Breakfast was definitely approved considering the size of the hotel, but there was somewhat small selection in bread ⁇ . What was there was of good quality, so you didn't miss so much.
Personally I would like to see the opportunity to order omelettes, fried eggs as well as more selection in coffee. (Only black coffee) But if you're satisfied with boiled eggs, eggs and bacon, you get what you want. Especially pleased with chopped avocado and good juices for breakfast.
Due to the location we will be happy to come back next time we go to Stockholm!

I visited Stockholm with my family, and we stayed at the wonderful Berns Hotel.
The location of Hotel Berns is perfectly situated in the heart of central Stockholm, which allowed us to easily explore the city's attractions, restaurants, and shops, all of which are within walking distance.
The hotel's historic building added a touch of elegance to our trip with the hotels bar & restaurant space a particular highlight. Our room featured everything you could want, set in a contemporary aesthetic whist retaining a warm & cozy feel.
The staff at Hotel Berns were incredibly friendly and accommodating, especially with my 7 year old, making the whole family feel welcome and ensuring our needs were met throughout our stay.
If you're looking for a friendly & centrally located hotel, featuring bags of history with comfortable, contemporary rooms, then I can highly recommend Hotel Berns as an essential part of any stay in Stockholm.

We loved this hotel! Such a beautiful building, with great character, in a perfect location. It was easy to walk to Gamla Stan, Djurgarden and Central Station. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and all food items were clearly labelled as to whether they contained dairy or gluten which helped us with allergies. We ate dinner here one evening and had a really lovely meal. We stayed for three nights over a weekend and never heard any noise, our room was really quiet. We will definitely stay here next time we are in Stockholm.

Chose to stay here as hotel is very historic and in a good location between Gamla Stan and the museum area. The Dining/bar area where breakfast is served is stunning and the staff at reception were very welcoming with the glass of fizzy wine at check in a nice touch. The choice at breakfast was great (as long as you don't want a full English) and can especially recommend the smoothies. I had requested a higher floor room with one of the French balconies and this request was fulfilled with a decent view over the rooftops. However the room itself was disappointing as the wooden flooring was all scuffed, the rug didn't look like it had been cleaned in a while and the the furniture was very basic. Also one of my annoyances at more and more hotels recently is the lack of tea! There was a small coffee machine but no kettle to make tea and no teabags or milk. It's such a simple touch but can make a big difference to those of us who don't drink coffee! On a more positive note the bathroom did look like it had been recently renovated and was very clean. Overall the common areas were a lot nicer than the rooms and I thought rooms were a bit overpriced for the size and facilities. I have stayed in better in Stockholm for less money.

I stayed here for two nights on a work trip and got an upgrade to the room category above the basic room. I really liked it and felt at home here. The room was modern and super cosy, with a French balcony and an exceptionally comfy bed. It was well equipped, including with a Lavazza coffeemaker, powerful hairdryer, hassle-free hangers and a roomy bathtub - the only thing missing was a tea maker. It was also very quiet (although they have events in the ballroom and other parts of the hotel pretty regularly). The breakfast is served in the old ballroom, probably the grandest breakfast location I've ever had in a hotel - and it was delicious with plenty of choices incl. bread, cold cuts, delicious salmon, cheese, musli, fresh juices and smoothies and also warm breakfast options. The location is excellent, close to many sights and to at least two subway stations, and by subway it's only 10 minutes from the main train station. The only thing I found annoying was that you have to enter the registration for the internet again every time you come back to your room, and it took me a while to figure out how the shower works (but the reception was very friendly and supportive), as was the staff overall. I would have loved to stay longer and would come back in a heartbeat.

Friendly and helpful staff at the reception. Lovely beds, duvet and pillows, slept like a log. Good personal reception with juice in a wine glass at the entrance to a lovely breakfast. Finely sliced avocado - a sign that you really give the breakfast table a high priority. Lovely to sit and eat under the crystal chandeliers in this classic and beautiful setting!

Disco noise pervades room till 3am on days it is open. Silverfish- bugs- in room. The bathtub shower is ok but you’d better be tall to get in and out and take care not to slip. Stayed in a suite for three nights which was long enough. The rooms show their age and wear but are nice. The AC limited but probably not needed often. The beds are comfortable and linens clean. The mini bar is nicely stocked. Ordering room service off the tv worked well and since food was from the restaurant it was asian fare and good.
Breakfast buffet was standard euro fair and nice enough. Decent selection. No lattes which is sad.
Would not recommend for older individuals or those with trouble moving. There is no one to help bring in luggage and stairs into hotel are old stone and without good hand rails.
Loved the location.

1. Loud: The hotel has the best club in town, so loud that the dessert lights vibrate until half past four. Every night it's either club or it has huge private parties. 2. Loud: Street noise! Every night!!! comes at 4 the garbage collection and everyone who has a room far away from the club wakes up as the windows are single glazed. If you fall asleep again, half an hour later all glass containers will be emptied EVERY night, that takes time! The vehicle beeps all the time. From 6 o’clock on, we deliver, work, you hear everything. 3. Loud: The air conditioning/heating is so loud that you have to turn it off if you want to sleep, but then you hear the trigger of the bath AND through the ventilation still a background noise. If you close the bathroom door, it whistles because the room windows are so leaky and there's a pull. 4. Loud: Restaurant and bar unbearably loud, out of desperation you still have a drink in the relatively quiet lobby, there will be a conference room in the 1st floor at 22:00. Floor cleared, also unbearably loud.
Breakfast: top, bad filter coffee
Furnishing: top, bulbs are missing, will not be replaced despite requests.
Service: Not appropriate.
Were here on business with several - young and old, had suites, changed rooms several times, no chance to sleep peacefully - never again!
Dream hotel? Once upon a time :-(

Such a very cozy hotel with incredibly good service. Me and my girlfriends were in Stockholm on a shopping weekend and we couldn't have stayed in a better location - really close to everything. Our rooms could be connected so we could only open one door into each other's rooms - so nice! Good breakfast and cute staff - highly recommended.
