The location is great, but it seemed worn around the edges, as if no one was paying close attention. My room had stains on the mattress cover and a friend's room had a bad smell coming from the drain. The attempt at hipness fell flat for me. A life-size photo of two hip-hop people in turquoise outfits and gold jewelry... More

This hotel seems very good when you go in and especially once you see the dinning area, but it actually stops there. Our room was actually very small the bathroom was actually half the room. The food was ok, not amazing. I would actually say that the best thing about the hotel was the recepption and restaurante staff. We had... More

I have traveled extensively in the US and abroad and I have never found a staff so warm, competent and helpful as at Berns. The building is a bit threadbare in places, but it almost feels purposeful, part of the friendly hipness. You need to give the place a try.

Bern's is magical - light, modern, and gorgeous. Further, the staff are gracious, kind and effective - changing our trip from ordinary to extraordinary. Our kids loved it too. We can't wait to return.

I stayed 4 days at the BERNS hotel, which had been recommended to me by boutique hotel staff in Copenhagen where I had passed through before arriving in Stockholm (for the first time). The BERNS is absolutely great with impressive decor - a mix of bombastic luxury in the restaurant and in-house bars and modern clean design of the rooms... More

No other hotel in Stockholm can compete with Berns location and surroundings. Short distanse to The Castle, Stureplan, shopping and restaurants makes the hotels location perfekt for a city holliday. Though you might want to consider another hotel. The reason why: "City view" doesnt exist unless you book a suite for about 5000 SEK for one night. We had prebooked... More

The Berns is a beautiful historic hotel in the heart of Stockholm. It was easy to walk to get bus and canal tours and to nearby sights. Rooms were large and modern. We had asked for inside rooms so we couldn't hear the noise from the nightclub. We read that the restaurant was excellent but it was a bit pricey, We... More

Beautiful, historic building that shows a bit of wear in the main areas. The rooms are like new, very clean and well appointed. Staff was exceptional all around. Ate in the bistro one night and inside for their take on Asian. Both meals were delicious, Asian was exceptional. Really great waiter, wonderful food! The sushi and Bao were our favorites.... More

The Berns hotel is a great historic hotel right in the center of the city. You can feel the history when you walk in. What's great is that the hotel retains it's old world charm but when you enter your room you get a cool vibe and you feel the "bern." The staff was great and having access to the... More

We reserved three rooms for three nights for five adults. The hotel is centrally located and a short walk to anything you'd want to see as well as shops and restaurants, so we were very happy with the location. My husband and I were placed in the room that is called the Marlene Dietrich room, as it was her dressing room.... More
