My sister and I (in our 40’s) surprised our father for his 70th birthday with a trip to Sweden. We chose to stay at the Lady Hamilton Apartment #4 The Miranda. We loved the apartment! It is about a 5 minute walk around the corner...More
This is a great hotel...friendly staff, clean rooms, awesome breakfast. The hotel is perfectly located near the palace and cathedral in Gamla Stan and close to tons of restaurants and shopping. Would definitely recommend!

Loved this hotel! I was told in advance that rooms were smaller than I was accustomed to in USA and it was but there was definitely enough room for the two of us. Bed was not quite a queen size but roomy enough for exhausted...More
We actually booked one of the apartments owned by the hotel because there were no hotel vacancies at the time. We arrived late in a cab with an uncooperative driver who didn’t’ like being caught in traffic and we were tired. The receptionist led us...More

Gamla Stan & Riddarholmen
Gamla Stan is Stockholm’s historic old town and home to the Swedish Royal Palace. It’s the most central island of Stockholm and accompanied by the small island of Riddarholmen, mainly known for its famous Riddarholm Church. Gamla Stan tends to be a bit touristy at times but is definitely worth visiting: take a stroll past the well-preserved buildings and through the small (and also Sweden’s narrowest)
alleys, which will make you feel like you’ve travelled back in time. This neighborhood offers a great combination of historical buildings and traditional Swedish restaurants.

Dear Sam and Peggy,
A normal walk from Arlanda express is about 15 minutes. If you have a lot of luggage maybe a cab is to prefer.
We are looking forward to have you as our guest!
Best regards from all of us.
